I can't stand OBS, every time I try to use it on any pc and I have tried multiple times I run into random issues, either a source being switched due to an update, screen not being recorded, audio stopping and I have attempted this and watched so many videos on how to use it that its not even funny anymore. :( I do however really appreciate knowing about all these other Screen Recorders. Thanks! :)

My issue is the quality of the audio on recordings whether microphone or desktop audio are bad. Very low or too high. 5 diffreent settings I changed didn't do much and when I finally found something worth using then it changed upon restarting the program back to crappy sound. You can't tell how the audio is going to record when recording. The speakers are excellent and audio quality is good but the program is recording horribly so I want to ditch this program for good.

I should add that using the volumne recording on windows or using a different program that records sound only has no issues. The damn OBS is not recording the sound correctly.

If you taking pictures, use the windows key and the print screen button at the same time ! ( your monitor or monitors should dim for a brief moment if you did this correctly) , if your recording videos, and you don’t have an option to set you screen resolution ( this will allow you to game etc in FULL SCREEN mode ) . If not then you can add black bars from your software and it will hide your outer window . Hope this helps

Yes, oCam is a great screen recorder. However, there are minimal frame drops when using it. I’m using a 2015 laptop, not sure if that’s the problem.

Obs is good when settings are set correctly the only problem is it doesn't record everything. Some of the things becomes invisible like clicking settings on a software you making tutorials off

i have audio lag issues with AMD, but i didnt used to. now i use OBS but it doesnt have a confirmation when i do the record keys to record (hot/short keys) so i dont know if i didnt right and when i just click record i have to go back and edit the 1st part so where i started obs isnt shown anything that is good and has a confirmation?

OBS cannot record the audio correctly so I need a new program. The audio is either too low or too high. And when I find settings that are okay enough, then they change upon restarting.
