just a switch and a steam deck is all you need. buy a switch lite for like $150 USD or whatever for the best games on the general console market, and a steam deck or ally x with whatever suits your budget more.

You can't go wrong with any of these (not sure on the ally, i don't own one). Maybe not the g cloud. at the time of my comment it's still around $250+ which is way too much for what it can do. Wait to see if it goes on sale. And understand you can play some games natively from it but it's built for streaming only. The Miyoo Mini + is really adorable and it's extremely easy to install Onion OS( custom os that makes it run a lot better) on it. I've had no problems with mine.
