Hp is all looks. I fell for the looks twice! first one(spectre) randomly shutdown after like 3 years and never came back on. second one(envy) started having many problems and it's not even 2 years old yet. Bluetooth issues, freezing outta nowhere, speaker starts getting quiet randomly, even on full volume!, and so on. the last straw was when the screen came off 2 weeks ago 🙃 I'm done with hp lol

My earlier version spectre was fantastic…for about 6 months. After that, about every 6 -9 months it would decide it couldn’t charge with the screen on and diagnostics would insist the ac adapter was faulty. A ritual of removing/updating/reinstalling various software & firmware would finally convince the computer to start charging properly for a while. The web is full of similar issues with hp support offering to sell new ac adapters to everyone. Needless to say, that will be my last hp laptop.

your best bet is a laptop with a good CPU and quite a bit of storage. 512 GB of storage, at MINIMUM 8 GB of RAM, and a higher-end 12th gen or above Core i5. the i5, i7, or i9 designation is not what matters, make sure you find out what generation (the current generation is 14th gen) and model your CPU is. i’m not well versed on laptop CPUs, but an i9-10900 (10th gen i9) will perform worse than an i5-14600 (14th gen i5). i wouldn’t say ts4 is a heavy GPU game, so any 30- or 40-series NVIDIA dGPU would be fine. if you don’t want to spend for a dedicated GPU, modern integrated graphics will work well as long as you dont crank up the quality too much. hope this helps!

I have the HP Spectre 360 13 and lemme just tell you. Its donkey shit. Its never been fast. The screens always been wobbly. It has speaker issues, as well as fan issues. And has had boot loop issues since I got it. A very disappointing machine.
