Keetongu was always one of my favorites. Even though in hindsight his left arm was a bit simple, he still felt like a legendary being, very otherworldy. Very happy to still have it, although currently not built

I also would like to say that you have a great channel, you're very entertaining and your positive attitude is really nice. I am currently going through a bit of a bionicle renaissance, buying old sets and your videos help me feel like an excited kid again. Keep up the great work!

For the Toa Hordika I´d definitely go for Nuju. His weapons and spikey head are just great. Also Iruini #1. That spear-tip and Bohrok Kai weapon piece, are some of my favourite parts to use in mocs. And Iruini has them in dark flat gold!

Keetongu has always been one of my favorites. Ihad him when he came out, I was like 8-9 at the time. A few years ago, I found a mint one on eBay for literally OG retail price. The leg joints were loose, but I’ve been modding it to make it more stable and more movie accurate

you know the drill, my favourites (this time I picked 2 canister sets because there were more of them than usual and the rahaga are boring lol): - toa norik. it's a toss up tbh. both hagah were incredibly cool (remember that commercial!) but over the years norik won me over - oohnorak. the chunkiest spider of them all. rare eye color + keetorange limb pieces. just a great set - keetongu. my favourite of that year's titans and just so cool, the legs, torso, function... always been one of my favourite titans - honorable mention goes to battle of metru nui. I got it for christmas and it was a very special christmas. nostalgia is strong :D

Keetongu always felt like Bionicle's bigfoot, what with him technically being a rahi, and I really like what the movie did for his head design, where they gave him a mouth that echoed the pattern of the foot piece holding back the spinner on his chest, giving him a somewhat ape-like face imo

"Sidorak just oozes cool!" Ben, are you hearing yourself speak right now? Sidorak was a total pushover! Oh, you mean the set, well, okay, he does look cool. And yeah, he basically has a Darth Vader mouth because that is what they used for Darth Vader's mouth in 8010 Darth Vader. And speaking of Star Wars... 2005 was an extremely good year for LEGO Star Ward because the Saga was about to be complete, Revenge of the Sith was releasing in May, so you know there were a number of brand new sets based on all the new things the movie would bring. And man, I have nearly every Revenge of the Sith set from the year with just a couple of mini versions of the ARC-170 and Anakin's Starfighter, and the big combo pack 65771 Episode III Collectors' Set because I didn't need the duplicate sets I had already gotten in the wild (but I do still kind of want it). There were also a few new additions to the theme that were outside of Revenge of the Sith, but there were a few rehashes, too. I know that 7264 Imperial Inspection is a beloved set, but if you got 7166 Imperial Shuttle from 2001, it wasn't worth getting. Plus it was using the gross new bluish grays, ick, the Imperial Shuttle looks better in the old grays. 7263 TIE Fighter? It may come with lightup Darth Vader, but not the stand for the TIE! Laaaaame. 10143 Death Star II and 10144 Sandcrawler are very welcome additions to the Original Trilogy lineup though. Alright, on with the list! So firstly, 3 of the biggest sets don't make the list, and they're all the sets that came with lightup features. Those are a cool gimmick, and the sets they come in are not bad, but there are some problems with each of them. 7257 Ultimate Duel is a very cool set, the use of the hockey platforms to move the figures around and fight one another is great, however the bricks with rounded tops means they slide off a bit too easily as the platforms the figures are on do not have any friction, so if the character falls off, they flop over. 7260 Wookiee Catamaran probably has the best lineup of figures, but I find the other Wookiee related set to be a better play experience. It is beautiful, and it's not even too terribly inaccurate, although still very much inaccurate, but it could be better. 7261 Clone Turbo Tank is also a very cool set, great figures, and it proably should be in the Top 5, but I find it to be a bit gappy for those big doors, and as you rock it back and forth with the suspension, the front and rear axles slowly slide off, meaning as you play, the set falls apart; that's no bueno. Okay, for real this time, here's the list. *5. 7258 Wookiee Attack* What about the Droid attack on the Wookiees? Yeah, what about that? Well, it makes for a pretty cool set, that's what! Sand Blue and Trans-Neon Orange was not a pairing I expected to work, but it looks great. The colors for the Spider Droid and Tank Droid are probably more exaggerated than they are in the movie, but who cares, they look great! You also get this fun flying vehicle for your two Wookiee Warriors and their weird printed lips (yeah, I don't know why they decided to do that, but they still look better than current Chewbacca), and it even kind of feels like an even fight between the two. You could even replicate the scenes that even made it to the trailer where the Wookies slap on a bomb and blow it up! Okay, well, there's no bombs in this set, but still, the Wookiees are fierce and they'll rip this thing to shreds. Paired with the Wookiee Catamaran and a couple Droids Battlepacks from 2007 and you've got a pretty good beach battle. *4. 7255 General Grievous Chase* It may be simple, but you know what this version has that the 2014 version 75040 doesn't? Boga the Veractyl! In fact, I only know that creature's name is Boga because she was named in the description in the LEGO Magezine! Even better, she uses the Dinosaurs parts that were introduced in 2000, and with a brick-built middle to extend her body, it showed some of the versatility of those animal body parts. Sure, the legs are molded together in one piece, but you still have some movement there, just like the Dewback from 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina the year before. I'm sure Boga would be made with special molds today that would greatly hinder that movement by not even being able to move at all, or if they did allow movement they'd never be used again. This was a great reuse of specialized pieces that were just generic enough to be used for all kinds of animals, and the only special piece needed was her head. But this set is called General Grievous Chase, and you also get his wheel bike! With neat prints on clear dishes, and a nearly technic exclusive built with recolored hand connectors in Sand Blue and Silver, and Mata Weapon Arms in Light-Bluish Gray with Dark Bluish-Gray Jackhammers, this was such a unique build experience. The only downside is that with enough play, the legs do lose their friction. But hey, you also get General Grievous with his two toned cape with a sweet print on it, too, so yeah, this was pretty great. *3. 7250 Clone Scout Walker* How could such a small set in comparison to the other two (not to mention all the other big sets not on the list) be better? To my eye, this is the best AT-RT we've ever gotten, and all others pale by comparison. A big reason why is that these legs are actually able to articulate in a direction that makes it look like its walking. You can move them forward instead of only back. It's also a decent scale where it is still oversized, but not comically so like 75002 AT-RT or 75261 20th Anniversary Edition, making sure to get all the necessary details, but not all of them, nor does it feel like corners were cut like the latest version we got with 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers. The colors work for Kashyyyk while the Trooper included is from the 91st Battalion, who are actually seen on BARC Speeders on Saleucami in the movie, but hey, that's still a cool trooper to receive. In 2014, when Kashyyyk Troopers was made, I swapped out the figs, and it still looks great. I've had many hours of enjoyment with this set, none of the AT-RTs have given me such satisfaction. The next two in the list are in the reply.

*2. 7259 ARC-170 Fighter* Some may say that 8088 is the superior version of the ARC-170, but they're wrong, it's this one. Technically, the pilots in this set are actually V-Wing pilots, not ARC-170 pilots, I've never understood why different ships required different types of helmets, but at least you got 3 of them in this set and not a very random Kit Fisto taking up a seat. Plus, if you watched the 2D Clone Wars Microseries, these guys are piloting ARC-170s, so it's not even all that wrong! The nose on this thing still looks great, they got that shaping down, even with a few gaps. There are no stickers, so the 3x6 wedges on the sides are actually windows and not just an illusion, no stickers also means no misplacing lines that aren't needed to still know this is an ARC-170. And the rubber bands holding the wings in place aren't loose, so when the S-foils are closed, they don't droop, that's what white o-rings versus the larger blue o-rings will do. Also who knew that the Rock Raider wheels from 1999 could so perfectly fit the Robo Rider wheels from 2000? That's a stroke of genius and looks way better than the oversized ones from 8088, and even if 8088 may have the correct size, they don't have that beautiful printed detail. Both sets do have a problem with the larger wings sagging, so if 8088 was doings it's job correctly as a remake, that would have been better mitigated, but it still didn't. 7259 ARC-170 Fighter all day, everyday, all the way! *1. 7283 Ultimate Space Battle* I've saved the best for last, it was released just in time for Christmas, and it is the greatest Invasion of Coruscant set we'll probably ever get. It's basically 5 sets in one, Anakin's Yellow Eta-2, Obi-Wan's Red Eta-2, a Tri-fighter Droid, and two Vulture Droids, all 567 pieces of it for just $50! While this set basically consists of 7252 Droid Tri-Fighter, and 7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid, which I had already gotten, because of the epic scope of that opening battle, you couldn't go wrong with getting more of the Separatist ships, and this set exclusively came with Obi-Wan's Red Eta-2! It was even used as a selling point in LEGO Magezine. Do whatever you want with the duplicate of Anakin's Eta-2, you now had everything you needed to have an epic Invasion of Coruscant, and it pairs up very nicely with 7259 ARC-170 (which was only an addition $40 and well worth it). To this day, it's one of my favorite displays. Obi-Wan is covered in Buzz Droids, he and Anakin are being chased by Vultures, too, and the ARC-170 is flying overhead, it's just great. Of course, stickers are annoying, you got 3 sheets of them (one for the Tri-Fighter, two for the Vultures and Eta-2s, which also hints at why you get two Vultures and both Eta's because these sheets are just the same one from 7252 and 7256), however with how good each model is, how well they fit in the hand and play, you can put up with them, they're easily outweighed buy the awesomeness of the set. Plus, those stickers aren't too bad anyway because they include battle damage and skuffed paintjobs, this is war after all, let's look like we're actually in one! LEGO has remade all of these vehicles since, and I won't say they are worse, I never got them, but I can definitely say that they don't nearly appeal to me as much as other remakes have. Shaping becomes more accurate, some play features get included, but they always end up overscaling everything, and to be honest, nothing will ever beat swooshing, and you can have countless hours of fun with a set that included so much for such a bargain instead of plenty remakes that only include the one ship and cost half the price of this whole set. 7283 Ultimate Space Battle was a must have back in the day, and it's still great to this day. 2005 was a GREAT year for LEGO Star Wars.
