Absolutely outrageous idea for Apple to discontinue the iPod devices. It was way easier to add or remove songs in and out of iTunes from a Mac computer.

Yep. I still use mine. iTunes still works and my 6 iPod Nano 7th gens hold all my music for the gym. When they stop working, I’ll look for something else.

Thanks to the added storage via a micro card, in my Sony NWA5 digital player I have all my 800 plus cds in .wav form. I doubt a cheap android phone will have that added storage capability. For most people a cheap android phone is still a good option.

No, because lots of people want a small device to put in their pocket when running or exercising etc. So they can not have a phone on them. Phones are too heavy and bulky to do that.

you clearly aren't a true music lover, otherwise you would understand...a phone isnt so good for listening to music. The sound quality is mediocre, the memory is limited and most of phones dont come with SD card slot anymore and their battery drains really fast. Also, phones cannot play flacs and other lossless formats.

? i just use my phone as mp3 player...dang the price 1 grand. think i rather just get magic 8s pro think it is the second most powerful phone for gaming, actually have built in fan and it's faster than s23 ultra that cost 500 dollars less :U but love samsung screen more :l i love music but can't see a reason to get a dedicated mp3 player even it if has better quality sound >_< for me that is because i can't the difference between medium quality audio to high quality audio

Какая неимоверная чушь, пишу на русском, чтобы парень не понял ваще. Он типа старался а тут пришёл я и всё облатал полимером. Кароч. Первые три плеера (два одинаковых и в середине китайский ноунейм), по звуку такое себе, Sandisk clip был первопроходимцем и дал многое, толчок развития, как наш гарант говорит, но его время ушло, он теперь как чешуя для собаки, ну или как пятая нога, нафиг не нужон. Ноунейм китайский, что тут под вторым номером - я умолчу, звук никакой, дизайн мможет и удобен, но не более (не значит что аппловский шафл лучше, нет нет). Четвёртый - Fiio, дорогущий, ценник у Fiio на такие "флагманские" модели взлетает в небеса просто, а функционал - ну такое, любой Hiby на Андроиде его уделает на лопатки одной левой, второй рукой покуривая сигарету в синусе восприятия. Пятый плеер - соневский NW-A306, я его пробовал. Плеер неплохой, но у сони тоже ценник - космический, сейчас такая модель за 35К продаётся в рублях, тот функционал что есть на мелком таком экране - ну ваще никак этому ценнику не соответствует. Я пробовал сравнивать Sony NW-A306, NW-A35, Hiby M300 и Hiby R2 Gen2. Так вооот. У Сони экран красив, но он во многом похож по функционалу на старую версию A35, несмотря на то что Андроид. Батарейку держит так себе, фризы и подвисания в работе (кроме приложения музыки от сони), экран настолько мелкий и неточный, что нажимать получается только большие кнопки, даже просто чёто набрать на клаве - становится проблемой. Экран у Hiby M300 например, чуть-чуть больше, но процессор намного круче, больше оперативы и он более точный по тачу, то есть работать вполне можно и даже на клавиатуре чёто набирать (настраивал вчера его и приложения ставил). По звуку, Hiby M300 даёт меньше басов, но намного больше середины, чем сони A306, руке приятнее лежит. Разве что сам плеер у Hiby в M300 чёто странный и мне показался малофункциональным, пользую AIMP, там всё есть. Ну а Hiby R5 Gen2 - это прям отличная штука, несколько большеват для портативного использования, но! Стоит чуть дешевле чем сони A306, при этом экран более точный и больше, удобнее использовать Андроид (весь функционал), звук даёт шикарный, те уши что сони раскачать не способен, способен Hiby M300, что не раскачивает он максимально, 100% раскачает Hiby R5 gen 2, в сравнении с ними Sony A306 выигрывает только компактностью, ну и кому-то его дизайн больше нравится, а по мне у Hiby M300 дизайн симпатичнее и в руке он удобнее. Но это моё сугубо правильное мнение.

Wow, the 3 first ones are probably ones of the bests but they look sooo ugly. And for the 2 last ones, why to buy mp3 players that look like phones, are the same size, use the same app (only not call), while you can just buy a PHONE that is just the same thing, tf
