Oil kings are smoother than ink black v2s without question. Oil kings are single handedly the smoothest switch I've ever tried. The smoothness with long spring makes them feel spectacular.

Have you tried morandi switches? They are my personal favorite and I think they are VERY smooth you should check them out

I use oil kings on both my work keyboard and personal daily board and they are my favorite switches I have used to date.

I have the Gecko Silent switches. They are excellent! I bought them for my first ever keyboard build and I don't regret it. Nice and quiet, but the sound that is there is very pleasant

Hi, 2 questions. Do you notice that their heavier than Most linears or is it a minor difference and did you lube them or do you use them Stock? Im thinking about buying them and i Love everything i can find but i dont want to lube them and i play lots of shooters so i dont want too heavy switches. Thanks!❤

@@Tinnitus187 I don't have a ton of experience with different linear switches. Like I said, this was my first keyboard build. But I havent noticed that these switches are heavy. They feel just fine to me, not heavy nor super light. The weight feels normal to me. And no I didn't lube them, they didn't need it. These switches are awesome and were great straight out of the bag

If you have the time to clean and re-lube Oil King, it's 100% a better option than Ink, in my opinion. Oil King pre-lubed is too much and horrendous.

My fav is the gat cream sodas but this are just oil kings with a long pole. I also like my Cj’s too for the hollow clack sound.

unfortunately no, because they use optical switches instead of standard MX-style switches, so your options are a little more limited
