I believe that an artist shouldn't have to apologise for making dark art if that's what they want to make. It's not like they're promoting anything bad. It's just the way they chose to express themselves through their art and music.

@@ScutoidStudios Eh? Was that explicitly stated or is that how you interpreted it? I don't think it was promoting anything bad. I think it was more of a mental struggle between the main character not getting any help and people around her not understanding and treating her poorly such in turn caused her to go insane. It wasn't promoting negative stereotypes. It's realistic to what can happen to people with mental illnesses and those around them if they don't get any help and are treated poorly due to lack of awareness. I personally felt that Candle Queen was a fairly realistic in that resepect. Though it wasn't explicitly stated that people were treating her poorly but she did express loneliness which to me is a sign that people just avoided and were terrified of her which is also part of being treated poorly sooooo.

@@Layer12_Landscape It's a long story honestly and I don't know all the details but people got upset with Ghost for the things they were making songs about. They had to apologized for creating a lot of their music because people kept telling them it was insesitive and terrible. I felt bad because I feel like Ghost has the right to make music about the subjects they want to make music about. It was a whole mess and I honestly belive that Ghost was not at any fault and people were just gatekeeping and being mean.

Oh the reason why Norman was given the surname Minecraft was because GHOST's patrons kept calling Norman that or guessing that their surname was Minecraft. It stuck ever since. My favorite GHOST song is a tie between Housewife Radio and Appetite of a People Pleaser. I just love the insanity of Housewife Radio and I love the story of Appetite of a People Pleaser because tw// eating disorder// you can interpret it as someone who lost themselves pleasing so many by being someone they arent or someone who had to use eating to become "a new person."

I find some of his songs hard to sing along with (whether timing or really high notes), but there are a few songs by him I enjoy (Mainly Animalistic (Daina), Don't touch me (Kaito) and Not as it seems (Miku) and of course Exorcism, Cry (remake) and I agree, Novocaine is really good. I also like Karma (Rin) which was a collaboration with Circus P.). Not my ideal favorite producer, and I'd take Shinjou-P's songs over Creep-P's (If you haven't heard Shinjou-P's songs, they're amazing! More relaxation mode than total bopping mode.).

Everyone is putting their personal top 5’s on here so imma do it to because yes 1- Perfect Nothing This takes the first place in my opinion mostly because of the beat drop at 1:10 but other than that it’s groovy and it holds a personal value to me as Perfect Nothing has gotten me through High School when things were going rough. Literally if “time to get funky” was a song 2- Entomologists This is a pretty close tie between this one and Perfect Nothing but the personal value carries the latter to first. I personally like the remake of Entomologists better than the original as it takes the haunting melancholy of the original and makes it f u n k y as hell, just me? 3- Honey, I’m Home This one is sort of a given, as it’s literally one of Ghost’s most popular songs (Candle Queen being the first) and it’s not hard to see why. Even though I’m a die-hard Christian, I can still enjoy the beat and rhythm. The art is beautiful too 4- Cut the Act (Everything Ruined in Moments) This one personally speaks to me as a fellow artist. I feel the frustration being portrayed not just in the video but the song as well. The glitchy staticky clicks is what really makes the song so unique and special. Also kinda feels like drinking paint lol 5- Culpability and the Panopticon I love listening to songs that’ll be the reason for my hearing loss at age 25. Seriously though, I fucking love the distorted loud ass beat but it sinks a little lower on my list because it’s so loud af. Kinda sounds like souls screaming and I’m here for it! Also ä r m s

I get this vid is a year old but I'm curious about your thoughts on Ghosts relatively new song Chelovek, it's Russian and uses piko in a haunting way in my opinion, the original version was taken down but they reuploaded it a few days ago and it gives me vibes of both dread and a feeling I can't explain.

I love all of their music. Honey I’m Home is amazing, perfectly resembles what it’s trying to resemble. Dex sounds amazing in it. Colorbars is amazing! One of my best friends is addicted to it, to the point she’s trying to change her name to Kennith! Every other song is AMAZING! Perfection!
