WHAT A STORY HAPPENED TO ME and this video... OMG... XD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well.. One of the subscribers asked why there is no video about TAMA.. I understand why he asked and I love TAMA myself.) It so happened that I made the first big video about TAMA in this section.. and I wanted to update the video for you for a long time... And now some of the subscribers asked me to make such a video... I understand why they ask for it and I myself love TAMA . So.. I started work and put a lot of effort.. I worked a lot and for a long time on a new video.. Then I lost the operating system and all the projects for the entire existence of the channel were erased (and at that time I ALREADY had a finished video that I put a lot of effort into)... But I decided not to give up... I was supposed to release a video today.. so I reinstalled the operating system and started with a clean slate... Worked on the video and overcame my own challenges to get the video to you on time.. redesigned and remastered my first video from the series.. and I survived all this adventure - because you, my dear audience, were not indifferent and leave comments with your feedback, which inspires me.) I couldn't let my audience down and I managed to overcome the challenge.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Support me, the video and the channel - subscribe, leave a comment and share with your friends.)

I currently own and use 2 beautiful TAMA drum kits. A 5 piece Silver Star clear Acrylic limited edition set. Also a brand new 7 piece Super Star Classic Maple set in Blue lacquer burst, that is just beautiful. I love both kits equally, and treasure playing them as often as possible with our band THE CATS! We play Motown, Beatles, Oldies and some Country with both sets easily handling each style of Music. I am one blessed and happy camper❤🥁

You have got to try the Superstar Classic Maple shell drums. Pro sounding drums for a semi budget price point. You must change the top heads though and put on some new quality batter heads-Leave the stock bottom heads on. I swear by these Superstar Classic drums.

Starclassic walnut birch!!!
@musicessences5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your enthusiasm about the Starclassic Walnut/Birch! I appreciate your question about why I included the Starclassic Maple but not the Walnut/Birch in my top 5 Tama drum kits. Personal preference: As with any "top" list, there's an element of personal choice involved. I find the Maple's tonal qualities particularly appealing. That said, the Starclassic Walnut/Birch is an outstanding kit in its own right. It offers a unique blend of warmth from the walnut and punch from the birch. If I were to expand the list, it would certainly be a strong contender for inclusion. Both kits are professional-grade and capable of delivering exceptional sound. The choice between them often comes down to personal preference and the specific tonal qualities a drummer is seeking.

He was a Tama guy back in the 80s, probably one of their most renown. Moving Pictures, Signals, Power Windows, and Grace Under Pressure all featured Tamas as his acoustic drums.

Hello, anyone with info?
@musicessences4 ай бұрын
To find information about the specific vinyl color of your Tama Superstar drum kit, you can try the following steps: 1. Contact Tama Support: Reach out to Tama directly for detailed information on your drum kit's finish. You can contact them through their support page or email. Here is a contact address for Tama in the United States: - Hoshino USA Inc. - Address: 1726 Winchester Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020 USA - Phone: 215-638-8670 2. Consult the Tama History Book: The history of Tama drums might provide insights into various finishes used over the years. You can check the Tama history book for more details on past drum models and finishes (www.hoshinogakki.co.jp/pdf/tama/catalog/TAMA_historyBook.pdf) 3. Visit Drum Forums: Engaging with online drum communities, such as the Vintage Drum Forum or Drum Chat, can be helpful. Other drummers might have similar kits and can share their knowledge or experiences (www.vintagedrumforum.com/thread/tama-superstar-identication-and-information-help.48151?page=1) 4. Check for Catalogs or Reissues: Sometimes, Tama reissues popular models with original finishes. Checking current catalogs or reissue announcements might provide clues about your drum kit's finish (www.tama.com/eu/news/detail/20231110154450.html) 5. Or visit a local large store with a representative office and ask its representatives. By following these steps, you should be able to gather more information about your Tama Superstar's unique vinyl color. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By the way - send me pictures... it's very interesting to look at them.)

Pre Tama royal star, reissue Superstar & SC w/b.
@musicessences5 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on those Tama drum lines! It's great to hear from someone with experience across different Tama models. The Pre-Tama Royal Star, reissued Superstar, and Starclassic Walnut/Birch are all excellent drum kits with their own unique characteristics. Each represents a different era and approach in Tama's drum making history. The Royal Star was one of Tama's early high-end offerings, known for its quality and sound. The reissued Superstar brings back some of that classic Tama sound with modern manufacturing techniques. And the Starclassic Walnut/Birch combines two great tonewoods for a versatile, professional-grade kit. Your experience with these different lines gives you a great perspective on how Tama's drums have evolved over the years. If you have any specific thoughts on how they compare or what you like about each, I'd be really interested to hear more! Thanks for adding your knowledge to the discussion.

SILVERSTAR BIRCH ????
@musicessences5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! The reason I didn't mention the Tama Silverstar Birch in my top 5 TAMA drums video is that I aimed to highlight models that are typically favored by more advanced drummers and that stand out for their unique features and sound characteristics. While the Silverstar Birch is indeed a solid kit with great sound quality due to its birch shells, I wanted to focus on models like the Starclassic and Superstar series, which have a longer history of professional use and are often recognized for their superior hardware and versatility. I appreciate your understanding, and I value your input! If you have any specific features or experiences with the Silverstar that you think should be highlighted, I'd love to hear them!

Had a 00 Rockstar for 20 some years. Abused is a understatement, though it sounded great everywhere its been. I finally upgraded with the star classic Walnut/birch. Black nickel and tamo ash. Amazing, I'd love a star kit but ya know, money lol

Personal gripe...why in the hell demo a drum SET by constant hi hat and cymbal banging INSTEAD of demoing the toms and bass? POOR sales technique...actually...IRRIATATING. Ms. bouncing head is a poor choice to demo a very expensive set.
