I bought (and still have) 2 of the original ones and feeding issues . I resolved feed problems after a while and them are very reliable now. I own 20 plus amt pistols and enjoy all of them.

Got to AGREE about the LAR Grizzly. Fun Gun, good for Alaska. With the adapter kits it is a brilliant and usable design.

In early 2003, I had two desert eagles, both an offset, contrasting black and chrome, because I wanted to adorn them with etchings, sort of like alucard's Pistols from the animated series Helsing They were absolutely badass! They had 12 inch long barrel vented compensator slides. The gentleman who modified my pistols also customized them, so the fireball blast out the front if you're unfortunate enough to be looking at them from the front as i was hoping to hit whatever was by you I was fireing at.... They made the pattern of the happy and sad expression masks used theater artwork, and the recoil, as hard as you think it would be, was about as rough as a 357round from an old revolver! I no longer have them, and its ben a long time, and we used all of them to cut trees down on my friend's property in northwestern Wyoming. But... A now deceased underground illegal gun smith gave me a box of 50cal hollow points with powerful nitro caps! One of these bullets could blow a large pumpkin sized hole through a tree!😳 Or... A really pissed off battle moose!!!😅 I haven't had those guns since late 2003. And i miss them....😢😣😓😒

My brother bought a used automag back in the early 1980s. He would cut 3006 brass down to make the 44 win mag cartridges. My dad bought the AMT 44 win mag which was a pile of crap. But he also later bought a Grizzly 44 winmag which is fantastic. Dad also had the 50 Desert Eagle, which was nice but I think it weighed almost 60 ounces and still kicked like a mule. A fun novelty.

Too bad not even ONE of the people shown shooting the Automags know how to hold it. They make it look like it recoils all over the place (well for them it does). Jeez we have teen age girls that shoot them without much fuss and make nice groups. My original .44 automag ($700), had ammunition that was NOT based on the rimmed .44 magnum, other than some esoteric influence. There are no phycial siimilarites. It used modified .308 or 30/06 cases. Sawed off, then modified for large pistol primers at the factory. The internal webbing in the cases was reamed, as well as the mouth of the case. The gun jammed all the time, was the loudest gun I ever heard, and fun to shoot anyway. ....just a note from my career as a pistol smith....the .45 auto case was also based on the 30/06 case. And yes you can cut one down, ream it out to fit the .451 bullet and it will shoot just fine. Or just trim down a .44 Auto mag roud. Gosh, that would look just like the Rowland .460.....what a coincidence. ....Personal preference is just necking down the standard .45 auto case to .356 ( called 38, 357, and 9mm) and have ballistics better than any of the 9mm's and even better, and more accurate than .38 super. And it feeds rounds nicely and needs no other big mods except a barrel and fine tuning.

@@damham5689 actually I only heard negative information on that first one the one that was used in the Deadpool. They even did a video where the damn thing actually falls apart right out of the box haha and I've heard it's not the first time that's happened with that gun. Plus the damn things ugly
@inverted311Ай бұрын
@@damham5689 Interesting.... So it's downfall was actually due to not enough testing loads in it from the factory? I do believe I heard this gun was rushed for delivery.... I could be wrong on that though.
