#AskGMBN Tech. Got a problem with my nukeproof scout 290 v2. As when my bike is going down the road my front wheel feels like its going side to side, even though bike is going in straight line. I have changed ny tyre sealant thinking it could be causing it. My spokes are all tension ok. My wheel bearings seem OK. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Outbound Lighting FTW! I bought the same set late last year. They make for a transformative experience when it comes to riding at night!

Totally agree! Rich was all kitted out for the night shift! They are so bright! 😅

I just did a 3 day AR across Florida and had the same lights. They are amazing almost never needed them any higher then low. On a fair amount of single track and fire roads at night.

That's insane! Yeah, the Outbound lights are brilliant not just for the number of lumens but for the battery life as well. Thanks for the support! 👍

Very excited to Arizona on GMBN, thank you. as a XC junkie I ride 120mi (193km) per week up the the road in Phoenix. Can you tell me if you liked the XTR RACE brakes?

time for the Cape Epic next??

Could you go more into your position on the bike? Rich seems to be sitting very far forward with a lot of pressure on the hands. Is there a specific reason for this (especially as this was a 24h race)?

Hi, which saddle is this and in what sizing? Looks like Ergon SM Pro but in different colour. In other video "Ergon SM Team edition" saddle was mentioned, but I don't see it commercially available.. Thanks

You would be doing very well if you could stick with that XC riding position for 24 hours. I would have been tempted to ride in a more relaxed posture and fit either a riser bar or a stem spacer. Good advice re the head torch. Very useful if you have a mechanical in the dark.

I'd also say that not just for ease of dealing with a mechanical, but also for any race at night, we always suggest two lights, even in the desert like Rich was, where a wide beam handlebar light on its own can work plenty well, because shit happens on course, definitely don't want your lap/race/experience ruined if a crash or something takes one out. Even in an XC race where weight is paramount, an extra 100g to save you if you wad it up and break something is well worth it, particularly as you're most vulnerable in the wee hours of the morning after pushing for >12 hours straight and in the dark by yourself.
