"Fairytale of New York" is another song that only uses four chords (D,G,A,Bm) I think you did a tutorial for it, years ago.

Happy christmas andy,thank you for teaching me ho to play guitar,nearly 2yrs now,47 when i first held my guitar im 48 now,nearly 2yrs from not knowing how many strings were even on a guitar to learning chords,wonderwall was my first song iv added a few more,and the acoustic guitar i baught 2y ago the action was way to high,my fingers were in bits,and it was a jumbo model,but i stuck with it,because i taught it was just i was a beginner and your fingers were gonna bleed,but after the first few weeks got it to b set up but he just put new strings on,sounded good still does,always in tune,but i got a brand new acoustic after 7 mths of pain,but the jumbo still taught me chords and at the start there all down the top so it was grand,but i got a thinner smaller acoustic,and i do think im shane macgowan,ah poor shane rip,but i can play the pogues song "rainy night in soho",what a song,im fro Dublin just across the water from ya,but yeah iv been having fun playing open chords except f,but wanted to ask you barre chords,iv always put them on the back burner but know its barre chord this and barre chord that,sooo i kinda hafe to tackle them,heres the question when barre chords are used the say "the e chord shape"and the e chord shape in a barre id do,but differeant videos say diff things they would say e shape but call it differant name each 1 would,or A minor shape barre is a somthing else chord,and i can only understand you,so any tips,other than take up the piano😂ah 2yrs in so another 2 learning barre chords,oh and all the music theory,and pentatonic scales,Andy i was playing well few songs,oasis,the jam,but it feels a bit much,so will i just stick to learning songs,and all the music theory just leave it,?like im not gonna be a rock star,but do i need the theory and scales,Andy im not dumb i doubt your readin this,but on th of chance,any advice?????
