Hi, Kathy! I found you through Shelly today, guess I'm a bit late to the party. I have been searching for someone close to my age (65) who has not had cosmetic work done for their recommendations on skin care and/or makeup products. There aren't many out here! Nothing wrong with it, however it sort of skews the results they are getting and won't translate the same for me since I have never had any and never will. My skin is not dry nor as wrinkled as some my age, have always taken care of it and I live in the N. GA mountains, get lots of fresh air and sunshine, natural exercise and natural food, but I don't use the same products or do my makeup the same as the 30-somethings. I don't use much concealer, don't care for some that others love like the Age Rewind or the original ELF Camo Concealer, etc., but I do have dark circles from being hypothyroid. I've loved L'Oreal Infallible and Maybelline Fit Me concealers so I think I will pick up the L'Oreal you mentioned. Could be that the Age Rewind Neutralizer I bought was already beginning to dry out when I got it. Glad I found you! ~ Cynthia

Hi Cynthia and welcome! Gosh, this collab was from a few years ago and of course I have a few new picks now. Youtubing makes me try hundreds of products, so maybe have a quick look at Faves for this year, both high end and also drugstore. Right now, the new Revlon concealer is my fave in the drugstore.

Hi Kathy! I love the info. I had been buying lots of concealers but for some reason they didn’t work for me. Another problem that I have is when I apply powder to seal the concealer my under eye area get so dry that I look really old. I take care of my skin and under eyes very good day and night. What do u think I’m doing wrong?

I'd like to live next door to her too. ;) I am closer to your age and have very crepey undereyes, so I wanted to see what you recommend. I have not tried the CT concealer or the YSL, but they both look like I should save up and try them! That little CT powder was so cute! Sample size?

Omg I have that problem with concealers under my eyes no matter how much moisturizer I put on I still can’t make concealer under my eyes look good...so I live with the dark circles ..love your videos

I had the same issue. It wasn't until I changed my moisturizer which I also apply under my eyes, that I saw an obvious difference. It turns out I became very sensitive to any fragrance in skincare and mine was loaded with it. After using the new fragrance free products, my redness is clearing up, my cheeks are far less dry and my under eyes are less crepey and dry. I dumped everything and now only use CeraVe skincare products. Made a huge difference. :)

I am so glad you did this video - undereye concealing is my biggest problem!! And with GOW - you 2 are part of the 5 ladies here that I totally trust. I ordered the YSL Touche Eclat and it was the wrong color - too peachy and slightly darker. But I have discovered it makes a fantastic corrector and easy to put right where you need it.

I’m glad t hear about the Saraghee product. After seeing you in the ad and asking you about it I am shocked to know they didn’t even get you permission. I’m glad to know that you like the line. Btw, I ordered the Shape (I forgot the name but to me it’s a girdle, lol). I know you mentioned it in a recent video and I have plenty that needs to be shaped. I am excited to get it and I hop it works. I have the lace under my left eye right in the corner. I have to use an oil to prep that corner. The Jay Manuel Line I told you about has a concealer I like very much. If you come out of your corner and order the foundation be sure to get the concealer and primer. Thank you so much! I don't use concealer under my eyes -- I really think it ages me unnecessarily. I do, however, have rosacea that covers both cheeks, nose, chin, and down into my neck. I really dislike the green stuff. I've only found one I like at all and I don't reach for it. The more layers you put on mature skin, the crepier and yuckier it looks! I just bought the Bye Bye Redness -- I tried it once before and I seem to remember the coverage was great but it's a bit thick (not sure how that will work with the extreme humidity in southern GA, but we'll see!) I'm really enjoying the Loreal Full Wear and the Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop. I'm a dry to normal skin. I see your subscriber count is growing! Good for you! Have a wonderful week!🌻

I love Shelly’s channel, I agree she’s very appealing. My dark circles are different, peach correctors don’t work as well for me as a yellow corrector. I purchased the RCMA powder because of your recommendation, and it works great!

Kathy Aay Beauty I saw them at CVS, and almost bought the yellow. But they were out of all the lighter shades, and I wanted to see if they had one with a yellow tint. I’m currently using the Avon concealer in light wheat, which has a strong yellow tint. But I never thought of using them to adjust foundations, that’s a good idea, especially with limited shades at the drugstore.

I have tried a ton of concealers and the two that work the best for me are the Loreal pro glo ( different one than the Loreal you showed) and the Mac concealer. But I have to put on Clinique All about the eyes first and let it sink in. The age rewind looks so dry on me. I want to try the Charlotte tillbury next though, xo

Hi Missy D! MAC Pro longwear concealer is #6! lol I almost included it! Ive had good luck with Maybelline but only if I tapped it in and put fine powder on immediately. For the price it is a great product. Concealers are fussy and so many factors come into play, eye cream, hydration (internal and external), and color can really change it up. Oh my goodness that big swish! I don't know how they get away with it and always wonder what they look like in person. And they do it with everyday looks. I have tried. I like the concept.
