All wonderful, as ever, especially the Doug's Buds adoption initiative. But that last one had me in tears instantly. Poor Mama, wonderful good Samaritan, and beautiful babies. I hope that the man who saved them gets help himself.

Number one is why we love dogs. I hope he does come and enjoys the stories of each one and their forever home, all because of him and his love of dogs. I’m sure he grew attached to the Mom he was feeding and the puppies while she was taking care of them and while he was taking care of them. Since there is no We Rate Humans it’s only fitting he get rated here. Kudos to Doig’s Buds. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope when you are ready you adopt a bud to share the space Doug enjoyed. Doug would have wanted that.

WRD, you are lovely hoomans and I'm glad this channel exists! As far as good dogs go - we take our two wherever we go if we can. They might have to wait in the car but they prefer that to being anxiety filled while waiting at home. This evening we just popped out for cigarettes. Our old girl was fast asleep in bed. Our younger dude, Sam, wanted to come, of course, but wanted to go and get her! We wouldn't let him and he was very worried the whole way to the gas station. 20 minutes later we were back and he went straight to the bed to, probably, tell her all about our betrayal.. We suspect, as she is a deep sleeper and can't hear very well, that the whole tale fell on deaf ears. Sam is a really good boy but a bit of a shit sometimes. 🥰
