My weakness so far is with the driver. When I first started last week I was really slicing the ball every shot. These actually work and have improved my driving. My bad habit is that I sway to the right instead of rotating the hips and upper body. I also have the tendency to bend my right elbow on the back swing so tip #2 is definitely something I’m going to use from now on!

You have to swing from the inside. A lot like looking for a fastball but getting a curve. You keep your hands back and drive the ball to the right side of second base (right handed hitter.) Same thought when hitting a golf ball.

Really well explained. For an older golfer the mechanics of the driver swing are the most difficult to master and you covered them in a very easy to understand way.

Another great tips video guys, thanks! Now as far as the unreal giveaway, total game changer! I have been waiting on a heart transplant for 6 years, and am very close to getting it finally thank god. I have been an avid and competitive golfer my entire life, and still try to play and do drills as much as possible, so long as I am physically able depending on the day. Now come post transplant I am planning on aggressively using golf as my way back to physical health and mental well being. On top of that I also plan on competing in golfing competitions for transplant patients both here in Florida throughout the USA, and hopefully inter-nationally too. It is called The Transplant Games of America and also The World Transplant Games. Essentially it is the Olympics for transplant patients, and I can't wait to be well enough for competition! That is where that beautiful set of Taylormade golf clubs, and D.J inspired Adidas gear would be an absolute blessing! I can not think of a better way to get motivated to work on my game, and look great doing it than with a setup like this! If you watch a long drive contest their misses are mostly hooks.

Andy and Piers, you two have the best golf channel in the game. The explanations you give are easy to relate to the technical nature of the kinetics of the golf swing, and have helped me save many strokes. In fact, my girlfriend is picking up golf this year and your beginner series was my first recommendation and it made her super excited.
