Amazing video George! You have a great voice for these videos and a good charm. I know the question was what was your most favourite but I’m going to go with my least favourite being the Kakapo, as a photographer I don’t feel safe around them.

Just recently I saw a tweet about the flightless cormorant and was so interested to learn how it came to be, beautiful serendipity led me here. I’ve always been a huge cassowary fan but recently I learned about Seriemas and they definitely have a place on my favorites

make another one. i like the native tasmanian hen or otherwise known as turbo chooks, brown mesite, sylviornis although recently extinct is interesting being a stem galliformes, so essentially a giant chicken cousin, and the innaccessible island rail. and just susscribed.
