Decided not to watch it because Majorca is not pronounced however the narrator was saying it.

do you think that the goat was what inspired legends of goat footed men that lived in the forest in ancient Greece?

if you look closely to Majorca's island form you can clearly see its a sided goat head and part of the neck and body. It even has the horns and the goatee.

Hello. I've been getting some valid criticism on my pronunciations in this video and I'd like to apologise. The real irony can be found in the fact I visited Menorca and flew over Mallorca, in future, I want to work on this and also my crediting of artists, I am a one man team at the moment who is also in education so I make a lot of mistakes. I hope you still enjoyed the video and learnt something new nonetheless!
@Seadraz27 күн бұрын
Nothing wrong with getting a few things incorrect, it’s all part of the learning process :) looking forward to your future content!

Your pronunciation of Mallorca would only be an issue if you were from Mallorca. Now seriously, what helps me with foreign names and pronunciation is Google translate. I had a student years ago whose family name started with 5 consonants. The "auto-detect language" even told me whe was from Poland!

Working on it, very hard to pin down artists especially with the amount of images I use, I promise to improve. A lot of my art is creative commons or public domain so I do not have to credit them, though I understand how many would appreciate this.

I'm from Mallorca and i was taught about Myotragus thoroughly had no idea about the gigantic rabbit. I love bunnies so that sounds like my dream lol. Our islands have some interesting early history and runes due to them being so isolated from the rest of the world for so long. Unfortunately it's all squandered by cheap party and beach tourism now. It's common knowledge that as soon as you try to dig anywhere here, you will find so many different remains, but no tourist who visits is interested in that aspect of the islands so if anything this history becomes a "bother" in the process of building parking lots or doing reforms and as soon as something is found it's buried again and avoided.
