@Almost_famous_guy brother but they don't. They are absolutely insensitive. Personal experience with Honda- I went to a honda service centre. The biggest one in Mumbai at Andheri to see if I could speak to customers and ask feedback buying amaze cvt. Most customers were not happy with one thing...sale of parts. I also told service advisor my amaze met with a accident and need a right side headlight. But they said it will take 10 to 12 working days for part to come and I'll have to get the car there to fix. Imagine so long for a bread and butter car which is sold maximum in honda the time to procure the part. My swift 2006 zxi longest taken by maruti was 3 days in all these years. Also I told them the car is not in mumbai but at my friend's place 70km away and the local mechanic will fix...so they said I'll still have to pay fitting charges and gst on labor even though I'm not fixing it at the workshop. Imagine this. I wrote a email to honda and informed them of the RIGHT TO REPAIR ACT. That's why they said ok sir our Dealer will give you the spares. But then I travel so much...tomorrow sahi main accident hota I'll be away from this dealership. So how would I get parts even for simple things??? That means even to keep a spare fan belt and ac belt in the dicky I'll have to pay labor...which is outrageous. I bought glanza vamt and I'm very happy. Honda needs to know they are in India not Japan and rules have to be made according to target audience customers.

Jimny is not sensibile logically. Why will the sensible crowd pay for a 5 door 4 seater close to 17 lacs on road mumbai when almost the same price your paying for a 3 door thar or gurkha. The 5 door thar wouldn't sell as a 4 seater just because it's mahindra with a bigger size and more powerful engine at 25lacs. Sensible people would stay away from the thar 5 door then. Same is happening in jimny....to me 5 door 4 seater makes no sense. Also maruti is hell bent on the 2.50 lac discount ONLY if you take finance from maruti as they receive the payout. But if you want to buy outright...then it's only 80 to 90k discount. I was looking for jimny if they were to give it at a 4 L discount like last year without finance. But close to 17 lacs isnt worth. But due to their finance clause avoided it.

I thinks buying an electric car is not to be proven a wise decision for long period as the battery cost is extensively higher and poor infrastructure of charging station. Moreover it is not an environment friendly option at all as in India more than 90% of power demand is fulfilled by combustion of coal. Ultimately no reduction of green house gases.

While TATA sold a lot of cars this year, they have also compromised on QC in their cars. There have been numerous issues with the gear-box, clutches, electronics and much more. Their after-sales customer service is also extremely bad. Mr Ratan Tata should have looked into this issue while he was around. Now of course it's even worse and there is no hope for improvement. Still so many naive Indians continue to buy their cars.
