Warning: If you have large ears or ones that stick out, wearing the alphas for over an hour will really hurt due to the pressure from the small foam and the small space inside the headset.

I got the Alpha's almost a week ago, and that may be not alot. But the comfort I'd say would be a 10, I will wear for like 3 hours without taking them off and no fatigue, soreness, anything like that. Also the sound is outstanding, I'll always know where gunshots voices, etc. are thanks to the alphas. Also I did a few tests with my friends on mic quality and we both agreed that it sounded great. Incase you couldn't tell, I feel like you would appreciate the alphas more than the 300s. Hope this helped.

yes, you can easily mute them and they are extremely comfortable. They are big but don't feel big, The Stingers are a steal. Glad to be back

Great video im planning on getting the Razer threshers but what my question is what's the difference with the threshers and the threshers ultimate? So far what I've noticed is it has a stand and a nice hub to make it easier for switching between PS4 and PC is there anything else or no? Cause I don't play PC so it wouldn't be worth it in my case

Only gripe I have about the HyperX Cloud Alpha’s is that at a glance a person would think that I have 2 pairs of them since I have the Cloud 2’s as well. They almost look the same. A different color wasn’t available where I bought them. Seems like other companies such as Turtle Beach would realize that more adults play video games nowadays & would start making headsets’ that don’t look like toys! Have never tried them & don’t want to. How am I suppose to feel like a responsible adult sitting around playing video games while wearing a toy headset on my head? 😜 That feel so cheaply made as if they’d break if you accidentally drop them. Is a goal of mine to get a pair of Sennheiser’s someday soon though & your videos are really helpful when making decisions as to what kind of headset to buy next. 😁

I really can't figure out why but I tend to use the Cloud 2 more for gaming. The Alpha's are just something different and can give a person a sense of being present when listening to music. As if you're sitting there in a music hall. Although can't say they were designed for that since they were designed for gaming but if they were to take that dual chamber and make audiophile headphones that would be something to experience! Though I might be the wrong person to ask. Starting to think that I'm going deaf at times! Lol. Though I do prefer using the Cloud 2's for gaming and watching movies. Tend to use the Alpha's when on my phone.

John R going for Sennheiser is a nice idea, I had cloud core and then bought the Sennheiser pc360, and I was just blown away, it's waaay better, I can't even enjoy cloud core anymore. I highly recommend getting pc360 or pc37x or game one. The only question is if you are ok with open back headphones and if you are ready to pay $120-160

I feel the logic tech G633 is better than cloud 2, because it has Dolby Surround and Dts X at 7.1. You can choose what surround you want it surports both. And unlike the hyper cloud 2, it has a great equalizer interface and 6 pre sets for FPS to Cinematic gaming or you can customize your own and save it for a specific game you play. This is for PC only. Check them out and for wireless try the Logictech G933 which are $140. But I bought my G633 for $76 on sale at Best Buy. While the hyper cloud 2 was for $108 on sale I bought both to see which ones I thought was better. Turns out Logictech G633 is in my opinion.

Tried the A10's and they are loud but no sound presets or mixamp so I had to return them after 1 days use, my couple years old Turtlebeach XO Seven Pro's destroyed the A10's I'll just stick with my turtlebeaches for now until I can afford some A50's

DONT buy the Cloudstinger! There is problem with all the aux cords that makes extremely loud buzzing for anyone in the party or gamechat if you touch the cord whatsoever and this is about after 6 months of average usage even if your mic is muted using the flip up it still makes the noise

I listened to tons of reviews about headsets, and ended up paying $100 for the the Hyper X Cloud 2. They are probably the worst headphones Ive ever purchased quality-wise, the highs give some cheap tinny sound to them that you cant ignore. You can go buy $10 no-name brand headphones at a corner market that are the same audio quality. I had these recommended by almost EVERY tech channel that reviewed them. Be careful, these guys are either terrible at reviewing, or don't care. Do not purchase ANYTHING from Hyper X. Anything. I have the extension cord of the Hyper X plugged into the back of my computer and use my Apple earbuds with them now. My earbuds sound better than the Hyper X. I pretty much paid $100 for an extension cord.

chaz sidnee the HyperX Alpha has a batter pure studio like sound where the Threshers are more amplified to give sound more life. Not an easy one to answer but it depends on your preference. Mine is the HyperX
