Yes! Using a gimbal on a monopod is much easy to carry it around. We can do a lot of movement with gimbal on monopod. When our arms are tired we can just put it down for a while. I have been using monopod on my zhiyun crane 2 since I bought it. I find it to be more comfortable and secure. Because I can hold it firmly with both hands. We can do high angle jib shot too!

I used a Sony multi monopod! Actually any monopod can do! As long as it’s strong enough to support the zhiyun crane 2. You just screwed in on the gimbal. That simple.

I’ve been looking at the ifootage monopod because of the quick release into a hihat. That would be amazing for grabbing the gimbal on and off. Great, now I want a gimbal too. My poor wallet!
