I agree with Steve. The best thing about Maelstrom was that it was low-key. There was hardly ever a wait, so I could ride it easily. It was like the People Mover, or the boat ride in Mexico. Yes, Frozen is "better", but I almost never ride it because I'm not waiting in line, and I can't get a FastPass.

There was such backlash against removing him they had to close the ride after being only open for a year or two and put that patched together version we have now. 100% agree on Soarin' Over the World, especially the heavy use of CGI. The entire Taj Mahal scene looked fake. Every single thing in that scene screamed render. I didn't mind the polar bears, and the elephants were ok I guess, but if you have to render the entire scene what's the point? With the original Soarin' I felt like I was there, but with the new one I feel like I'm watching a movie. And I don't need to go all the way to Disney to watch a movie.

This is some great subject matter. I agree with Charles. The reason Epcot is my wife's and my favorite park is its uniqueness. The concept for "Frozen" is fine, but not for Epcot. MK or HS. NOT EPCOT! I just fear that the warp speed that Disney is blindly throwing IP around the parks is that it might change Epcot to just "another" Disney park. The IP is fine, just make its placement and use make sense. And, as one poster said, I disagreed with everything Sawn said, lol. No big deal, just disagreed. Yes, "Frozen" brings people to the Norway pavilion. Yes it thins the crowds at other attractions. BUT, still, you can accomplish that by making the IP and non-IP attractions pertinent to the pavilion, Land, or section of whatever area/park it's being added to.........I totally agree that Sorin' Over CA is MUCH better than Sorin' Over the World. Not because it's CA, but because the video/3D in the World version is horrid. Cheap, crappy, and distorted. I would've loved to have seen Sorin' Over America. smh........I love the Winnie the Pooh ride, but Mr. Toad was better. I agree. I would like to see BOTH attractions at Fantacyland, not one there at the expense of the other. Charles' assessment was great and I wholeheartedly agree with him........GREAT show! I really loved this episode. I look forward to the attractions that were bad a made better.

I miss the original Journey Into Imagination. However, I do think the Imagination Institute is an interesting concept, and could have been successful if they had executed it in a different way. I have a complaint about Space Mountain. I prefer the pre-renovation time before they put in that ceiling over the queue. First of all: I’m a huge Pooh enthusiast. I love the many adventures just as much if not MORE than the Mr. Toad animation. Mr. Toad as a film, go rewatch it Sean because it’s hilarious. There are moments that make me as 26 year old laugh out loud. “He misbehaves” because he has mania. It’s about a person with mental illness being reckless with its inheritance! It’s a great movie. Also, WDW didn’t have the Hell scene but I’m sure you all know that. Charles hits all the marks. I still love Pooh and the Many Adventures but Mr. Toad is a classic Dark Ride, so classic that it pulls a lot from classic dark rides like Pretzel Dark Rides, predating Disney. But overall I really agree with this list. I wanna our Alien Encounter higher on the list, but that’s just because my fandom for it is undying as it was the scariest ride I ever rode as a child. But comparatively, the rest of them are worse transitions (although Pooh isn’t that bad I quite enjoy it as a ride, just not as a replacement)

-Inside Out is absolutely godawful. Imagination needs to be Figment and he deserves a cute little cartoon show. Put Inside Out back over in Wonders of Life and refurb that whole pavilion. -Oh my god Sean I have lost all love for you :O -ANYWAY. Pull the Imagination Institute and make it about imagining. Dreamfinder needs to come back. -I think Frozen's more shiny and new. I think Maelstrom was a better fit for the pavilion. I'm iffy on it. I don't like pushing Frozen into an actual culture, either. Ratatouille is at least set in France. Frozen is... the visuals might fit but I have mixed feelings on it being in there at Norway. I agree with Charles and Coco. -Oh my -god- Sean. -OH. MY GOD. SEAN. -Oh my god I bet Sean actually supports like some kind of crazy mary poppins coaster with a bunch of dapper dan-types screaming chim chim chiree at you with cockney people everywhere in the UK. -I feel like Soarin over California was very pretty and I miss some of the scents. I just generally love Soarin but I agree the camera work could be a lot better. I imagine they'll refurb at some point and fix it but mostly I just love the ride. I don't care where I sit. The distortions don't really bother me except for the eiffel tower. -SEAN HOW ARE YOU SO WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING. -Mr. Toad was a ton of fun. There's nothing wrong with Winnie the Pooh but it's... I mean meh. It's fun. It's fine. But Mr. Toad was so, so good. -I may literally be Charles like, 75-80%. -Sean sweetheart if you were any more shallow you'd literally reflect yourself.

I have always completely agreed with what Charles said, about Mr. Toads and funny that Mr. Toads made an impression on me as a kid, as a morality message for sure, that was over 20 years ago or more, Pinocchio has a similar morality bend too it as well, but not as immersive, and fun as Mr. Toad

If you like soarin’ (either version) you guys should check out Wings Over Washington. It’s like soarin but 1 it’s over Washington State, 2 it’s got way better technology that makes every single seat have a good view and is completely hidden, and 3 the indoor theming is WAY better in the starting area. It’s got a loop of a totem pole with a roaring fire in front of it inside of a room with wooded benches on an observation deck (that’s the actual ride part that moves) surrounded by UV paintings that create a night sky setting and to top it off, an animatronic owl and raccoon. You guys really should check it out if you are ever in Seattle for any reason

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Soarin' was horrible. Everybody I knew raved about it but I ended up seated in the last seat on the right, and it was just AWFUL, things were so warped. I enjoyed Star Tours more than Soarin.

Oh, I did--twice! In fact, I rode that first, so it sort of spoiled me for the others. I probably should have started with Soarin' and the Star Tours and then FOP. Oh well. :)
