Top #1 mod is a 31T pulley on the belt. Increases speed on the highway by about 6mph. The 883 is notoriously under geared. With the new pulley up front you can cruise on the highway at 70mph pretty effortlessly. On the Custom model a Harley Sundowner seat is a must it will triple your riding time, not feel anything but really big bumps

I never did the gear change but have heard from several people who have. Totally game changer! You can get Highway gearing or low end gearing. You make it what you want it to be. The best part of a sportster.

I’m not completely sure, but I do know that you will more than likely cut/customize chin spoiler to make it fit. It uses the same bolts. Hope this helps.

I do, I recommend the skullriderz.com lightweight and breathable flannel air mesh. I rode in 90+ heat a few times with very good results. I will be doing a review video very soon keep you eye on my channel to see it.

I’m an old school mechanic. When I see “custom” I know it’s just aftermarket parts bolted on….. same as any other “custom” nowadays. All the customs look like each other. Custom used to mean built specifically for the vehicle being worked on….. fabrication. Custom = no other like it. I deal with this at work as well…… everyone wants their “custom” to look like someone else’s “custom” even with the same parts bolted on. It kinda turns me off of building something “custom” for people. It takes away from the whole meaning of custom…… If it weren’t for the ludicrous money these idiots are willing to spend for the nameplate of “custom” I wouldn’t do it for them….. I’m looking to open a custom shop in Nevada to actually do real customs. I’m thinking a dual purpose shop…… Actual custom Harleys and actual custom golf cars. Seems both of those customers have bottomless wallets.

I totally agree with you about the word “custom” I have said how I customize mine and yes all bolt on or plug in. To me customize should be you own creation with metal fabrication of sum sort. Yes you completely correct in your statement. I hope your business does well, I hope the real custom builds come back. There are some amazing creators out there. Thanks for watching and commenting! They do have a Custom model from the factory, it is a pretty great Sportster with its 4.5 gallon tank..

@@DoubleDMoto I just think he's basic and dull and he does this the bolt on regular stuff and you can't be custom when you go to DK customs they are a horrible place as well

Interesting opinion. I never looked at him as a customizer. As for DK Customs never had an issue with any of there products or them. I always like hear others opinions. Thanks for sharing!
