These movies came out when i was in my early twenties, and i've been watching them recently again. Still love Legolas, but the crush on Aragorn has only grown. Can we talk about the perfect casting that was Viggo. He brought a natural quiet gravitas to that role. Also helps that the man is FOIYYYNE. Awesome list! In my opinion, Legolas is a great character and I think both trilogies explored that extremely well. And I know that some people don't like the fact that Legolas and Tauriel are in The Hobbit movies because they aren't in the book. But, as I see it, both trilogies made Legolas grow as a character: in The Hobbit trilogy he understood that the Elves weren't superior to the other races of Middle-Earth and in The LOTR trilogy the fellowship and friendship he developed with Gimli made the Elves and the Dwarves fortify their connections. Anyways keep up with the amazing work!

Tomas, ur not alone. I love the hobbit book, but the inclusion of Legolas didn't irk me (especially when one considers that it wasn't until LOTR that we discovered that the elven king who kept the dwarves locked up was Thranduil, and we discover that just bc he's Legolas's father... which means that Legolas was the main bit of proof who the elven king in the hobbit was). I found legolas's inclusion in the hobbit trilogy very interesting as well.

There are two very memorable Legolas moments in "The Two Towers", how could you forget them 😭😲 One is when he jumps on his horse, backwards. The second scene is during the fight, when he's "surfing" on a battle shield (and shooting on the Uruks). Had anyone noticed that his eyes in LOTR are different than in The Hobbit?

I was looking for this comment and this comment only 😂 Because my favorite cool Legolas scene, apart from the oliphant, is when he jumps on the horse like that. So epic. And yes, I did notice that about his eyes! Took me a while to figure out why he looked so different, it couldn't have just been because he was older when those movies were made. Idk why they didn't keep his eyes the same color though. Hopefully they had a logical reason, otherwise that's just poor attention to detail.

Orlando bloom was made for this role, he was made for all of his roles, but mainly I just can’t believe Orlando played will turner and Legolas, he’s an amazing actor! I find Legolas the elf awesome. Skilled in swordsmanship and archery. But his most favorite weapon is his bow. Such an athletic and honorable elf in Middle Earth, I must say. Elves are part of the little people such as the fairies, pixies, sprites, hobgoblins, dwarves, hobbits, gnomes. brownies, boggarts, imps, and goblins. I love them.
