My favourite right now is definitely Angmar. I’m working on some heroes like the Witch King and some others from the Rise video game, and have some Rhudaur barbarians. After Christmas I hope to do some Arnor figures, along with some Numenorian kings using some spare heroes I have lying around.

Nice, what did you use for the Rhudaur barbarians?
@thecondorflyght89647 ай бұрын
@windrushwargamers2745 Frostgrave barbarians. They look very close to how they do in game. They are a bit on the chunky side, but they probably were meant to be historically.

I'd find Top 5 middle earth landscapes quite intresting

Thanks Mate, like landscapes to make scenery for?

@@windrushwargamers2745 not expecially, just your favourite ones, bonus points when you could show pictures of terrain resembling it

I think Dunland would be in my top 5. Any sort of viking model, can also take rohan models. Maybe its just becaise I've recently done them so its fresh in my mind
@windrushwargamers27457 ай бұрын
No you are right, that is a great shout. There are loads of Viking/ Saxon models that could work well bashed in with them! The wildmen would have a fair amount of overlap with what I said about the survivors of Laketown too what would be the rest of your top 5?

@@windrushwargamers2745 ooh, think Moria and Minas Tirith/Fiefdoms work really well. Hard to look past Mordor as well for the reasons you mentioned. Even though I've not done them, I'd think Harad/Far harad in there as well. They've got a large roster to chose from for funky conversions as well
@windrushwargamers27457 ай бұрын
@@hunsler1006 Yeah, Harad/ Far harad is a great shout. I need to finish off painting up my Far Harad conversions.

I'm going to work on compiling all possible Gimli and Legolas clips to do more logo janky edits for our future collabs 😄 Thanks again for having me! I think the echos because I'm coming out of your speakers back into your mic, but I think we were just emulating the echoing hills in Beleriand with Morgoth 😂 An artistic choice in solidarity to the true dark lord Melkor 😅

Thanks for joining me mate. Great picks. I hope you make them too :)trying to think of scenes now. I am sure there are some Helms Deep ones that could be fun. Yes I agree I think that is the issue. Next time I will use head phones! But honestly I don't think it is too bad. All hail Melkor

Unsure what's causing the feedback but when quite cool speaks there's a big echo which makes it hard to listen to, definitely interested to hear both your opinions but the audio mixing makes it a struggle in this one!
@windrushwargamers27457 ай бұрын
Yeah bud, It's from the original recording. I have tried to clean it up but not much luck. I will look into the audio setting next time to make sure it doesn't happen.

@@windrushwargamers2745 yeah I didn't think it was malicious or anything just wanted to note, definitely tempted me with the easterlings though that kamul conversion was sick!!
@windrushwargamers27457 ай бұрын
@@AleksMardel No worries mate, I didn't take it personally! My girlfriend had pointed it out to me in passing too so I was aware of it 😅Thanks mate, I might have to do one mounted on a Fell beat too.

I just wish GW would lose the Middle Earth license soon and Fantasy Flight Games or someone else would pick it up.
@windrushwargamers27452 ай бұрын
That would be cool. But honestly, I think that even if no-one picked it up we would be fine. The 3D market is booming for this hobby and people are already homebrewing their own profiles from the wider Tolkien lore.
