I think just seeing the last clip doesn't do it justice. DF.HK -> CA is *hard*, getting to a point where you can rely on it not only during a tournament match, but as a whiff punish is just insane to me.

Yeah, it’s so difficult to explain how cool it is 😭

On the Ryu match you can see momochi actually taking steps forward during Kolins attacks. This him always being in position to punish with the still. Final Fight - That was lab work right there Reactions - WOOOOOOOOOW!! But the courage of him to walk forward and initiate offense is what’s scary that’s an in game read you probably wouldn’t see any one else do. It’s a different level up there in the realm of the Gods l. Itzabashi Gief: That’s the Tech! Mixed with Gief stuff lol Amazing I wonder if it was an option select on the CA on the Vshift recovery. The Beast - Daigo knows his ranges, you can clearly see he labs with every character. You never want Poison to activate Vtrigger because that would’ve changed the whole round for Daigo! Good Breakdowns man!!

I didn't even know that DF-HK + CA was possible, and it is even more insane when you do it as whiff punish in an online tournament. Daigo is definitelly a Beast

These fights were amazing, I loved that top 8 👍 One of my favorite fights was Daigo versus Tachikawa. Daigo was anti airing Tachikawa with SWEEP 😂 he pulled that at least twice lol And the moment Tachikawa had the whip attack loaded, Daigo jumped in and kicked. Tachikawa uses the attack and it was indeed low, so Daigo's kick hits the whip's hitbox 😅 like "I know that's low attack 😎 Easy opperation 😎" All of top 8 was packed with crazy moments like these that show the knowledge and skill these players have. I'm really happy for Mago as well, he earned that win 🥳 Thank you for the video, mr. HiFight! Keep up the good work 🙂👍

how + is ryu ex hadoken on block point blank in vt1
@HiFightTH3 жыл бұрын
It's +2 on block in both in normal state and VT1
@joshuacopley23313 жыл бұрын
I swear people sleep on vs2 ryu. The buffs on it make it really good to just throw out at max range and the TC in a jump in combo does over 330 damage no meter.
@cainancapko41493 жыл бұрын
I wonder if Takeuchi knew that V-skill 2 did a lot of the same stuff he was doing with V-skill 1, but with more damage. Cody can sway the flip and dodge the entirety of Abi’s charged VT2 for a bigger punish. Either way, still glad to see that knowledge!
@kbgbfree88563 жыл бұрын
Great video! As always, your content is insightful and well done. Can anyone tell me why Capcom decided to buff Ryu like this and not my Boi Zeku?! 😫
@deniakio3 жыл бұрын
Because Ryu is the protagonist and except for the season 1, when there were less than 20 playable characters in the game, he never been a competitive pick, Zeku already got a lot of time to shine
@crazygabe20003 жыл бұрын

Hitboxes are so cheap but hey if they don't ban it, abuse it lol. That confirm from Daigo was nasty as it was hype. Between the crazy stuff Daigo's done with Guile since dropping sticks and easy EWGF, it's safe to say if you're amazing at the game, it helps elevate you to godhood.
