Top 5 Moments in Bug Fables

I have to say that Leifs Backstory is probably my most Favorite Moment in Bug Fables, the Setup From Chapter 4 to when Vi and Kabbu assure him that he is still Leif and still their friend, it is all just so wonderfull made and kinda brought me to tears!

The conclusion of Vi's sidequest made me feel my eyes water a little, and I'm not an easy crier. That might be my favorite moment in the game. Leif meeting his family is up there too. The tattle dialogue is also great, where Leif says that Muse carried him in their team a fair bit, and he tells Kabbu to remember that he didn't have magic back then. He also remembers his father, saying that he was even taller than he was, but he was a bit cowardly. Honestly, I think there was some missed potential with both Vi and Kabbu. For Vi, Kabbu and Vi are set up as perfect foils to each other, and I think it would have been some great development to explore Vi's greed in contrast with Kabbu's tendency to put others before himself. Kabbu is polite to a fault, which they touch on but don't do much with; Kabbu could stand to learn the value in being a little more selfish. Vi could learn the opposite lesson. When Venus calls Vi greedy and impure, I think it would have been great if Vi retorted by asking what's so impure about wanting the best for yourself, which is a fair question. Vi isn't wrong for expecting rewards and working for her own benefit, but she lacks sensitivity, like when she asks for a reward right after the fight with Scarlet. Kabbu and Vi have an entertaining character dynamic when it comes to this, but beyond fun interactions, the characters don't have a satisfying arc when it comes to this aspect. For Kabbu, I'd really have loved to hear a little more about what drives him. His guilt and lust for revenge on the beast are cool, but I still couldn't describe to you what motivates him. What are his goals? He says at the beginning of the game that he has a promise he must keep, and for that he must explore, but what is that promise? I can't tell you. What were Kabbu, his master, and Bit seeking? We get glimpses of Kabbu's homeland not being so great, such as with the beetle in the spy cards auditorium, but it just isn't enough. Kabbu is easily the character I have the least attachment to of the main three because of this lack of solid depth.

Through the lore books, we hear of a land to the northeast populated mostly by Beetles. I would've loved if in the post game you could go there and interact with some of Kabbu's friends/relatives. But yeah, Kabbu kinda got the short end of the stick in terms of character development.

This is a very fair critique. I personally didn’t think any of them really completed their arcs thoroughly and I had mixed feelings about new protags in the next game. Leif imo should have told his family the whole truth to give them the chance to process what happened. And like I said, your critiques of Vi and Kabbu are totally valid.

I am surpriced you didn't include Leaf's discovering who he is as one of top 5 moments. It was a very powerful one that is fave of most let's players.

My favorite moment is Vi's backstory, even though its not so important for the main story, it's so beautiful, i really love that moment too! But moments like the final battle are so epic, i love them all... Also, about the video, its really good! You know how to talk very well, the script is fantastic and the introduction is very great too. I could feel how you really love the game by the video. Good luck on your channel!

Brah, when the Queen revealed her true intentions of why she wanted the everlasting sampling and took off her Mask my jaw DROPPED! I was so ready for her to be the final boss of the game and fight her at the end so her turning into someone who ends up helping you after thinking that just left me in shock 😲 I Swear, this Game is one of the best games I've played in YEARS.

@@Dr.Pootis Yup Same . I loved this game so much but unfortunately I can't bring myself to play it anymore. About a month after I left this comment and being in such awe of the game, my little girl died in a freak accident. She sat in my lap and watched me play Bug Fables from the beginning, always excited about what I was going to find next in the game even though she didn't really understand what was going on or the story, and often falling asleep on my lap/legs as I played . It hurts my soul now even thinking about playing this game again....

One of my favorite moments is one I don't see really talked about, and that's the fight with Mothiva and Zasp at the Termite Kingdom. Mostly for the CATHARSIS factor. Mothiva has been a pain in the stinger for most of the game and now she threatens to ruin any sort of alliance between the Termite and Ant Kingdom just because she doesn't want Team Snakemouth to be the ones to do it. With the team at their absolute LIMIT with their patience with her, and with Zasp constantly backing her no matter what, even KABBU gets fed up and the trio fight Zasp and Mothiva one last time, with a unique battle theme, and you get to not only preserve any hope for a treaty between the two kingdoms, but also show up Mothiva on the stage for EVERYONE to see. The previous fights were in secluded places, but this time, EVERYONE got to see her lose. Its so cathartic teaching her a lesson or five.
