@@philipgabriel2450 they do? They have a bad reputation because wild imports are definitely not the greatest. But if picked from a breeder and grown correctly they can be lovely! So many people that have them and make videos of them, you can see they are very nice. If you go through their baby nippy stage they can be wonderful as adults. And even balls can have a nippy baby stage.

You've got the emerald tree boa camouflage backwards as their young neonates there closer towards the floor with the brown dirt and the flowers and everything so that's why they are yellow and red and then as they get older they go more towards the canopy which is where you'll see the green and the little bits of white cuz that's where the light comes through the trees

I really enjoy my Brazilian Rainbow Boa, and he's never hissed or striked at me. I got him when he was 6, though. He was my first snake in over 5 years, the only other snake I ever owned being a Corn Snake. I found him through a craigslist ad and paid $25 for him. He's been relatively easy for me to care for and I've never had an issue with his humidity (I lived in New Mexico at the time and currently live in North Dakota). I did a lot of research before getting him, I was lucky the post even stayed up for that month. Even though they're normally expensive, I suggest you get one. It'll add enjoyment to your life, and content for your channel 😉

I love the tri colors and classic patterns are my favorite, except for my cornsnakes I’ve only ever had classics, but I haven’t been able to find a classic corn, go figure. beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I love your list no doubt they are all beautiful animals. My top 5 favorites though are the red tail boa, my favorite snake so I am bias, but they too big for me to handle now since my car accident, AZ Mountain Kingsnake, Mexican black kingsnake, classic cornsnake, and the gray banded kingsnake. I didn’t realize I was partial kingsnakes until just now because I’d give honorable mention to the California king and Florida King.

I have a rainbow boa for years now and love them. They aren't as picky and needy as people make them out to be. Great feeding response especially as babies. I have never been bit by my female, the the male I had did nip me ones. They can be groggy in their cage and don't want to come out but when they are out of the cage they are great even around kids.

One of the most beautiful things about them nobody ever mentions ! During the night their sides fade out ! Not the dark outlining just the orange fades out on the sides during the night ! Its wicked

Seems like this list def focused more on the beauty then the "pet" side of things. Still a cool list. Learned about a few new snakes to look up. I liked the honourable mention of garter snakes at the end. I've been looking them up myself. Some come in like silvery grey patterned (Silver and Granite respectively)and the blue stripe (also the Puget Sound has a high blue vr) and the fire or whatever it's called if you like the red kinds (I am not so I can't remember the name sorry). There are tones of diff "natural" ones too since diff garters are found all over the USA and Canada. But I am still new in my research so I'm still fact checking.

Hey, Adam. This has been a really interesting video. I didn't even know number 5 existed. I love learning about new creatures! I would personally like to see a video series with your favorite morphs of different species. That would be awesome. Also, would you mind going in-depth about the debate pertaining to whether you can have too large an enclosure for a juvenile ball python? I am in the mindset that larger is better as long as you give them enough hides and enrichment. This seems controversial. Can you elaborate on this? Thank you! P.S. I apologize if you have already discussed this. I'm slowly watching through all of your videos as I just discovered your channel about 9 days ago, so I am still catching up on your past content. :)

BRB's rock! The humidity requirement aint no joke though. Yes the young can be a bit nippy although with some frequent handling they usually become quiet docile. I kept them for about 10 years and got a couple of clutches from them but never got bit...my Vet on the other hand got lit up more than a few times when they turned into a "Belt Fed Staple Gun" on periodic check ups. The "high Red" ones I think are the most stunning of all.

the prettiest snake in my eyes is the grey banded kingsnake. I and not ready to have one though. They are one of those types that have very specific requirements and from what other people have experienced they can do poorly in captivity. also, feeding them their special diet gets very expernsive. One day, I am going to have done enough research and saved enough money for it, but today is not that day! Next thing ill get is going to be a curly hair tarantula. One of my favourites is the bamboo false cobra though it seems they don’t exactly make good pets for most hobbyists.

Idk why but if I were to ever get a snake it would be a pine snake. There’s something about them. I don’t know what. But I love them.

I got an captive bred emerald tree boa as a baby 2 years ago. She won't eat frozen no matter what. she eats live as soon as it hits the ground day or night. She digests slow and prefers smaller meals every couple weeks. They can get prolapse easy, so high humidity & smaller meals no more than 3 before pooping is good. a warm bath or exercise makes them go. She's easy to handle since a baby never bitten. Awkward balanced on the arm feels like she could twist off or looks uncomfortable sometimes, but holds tight w the end of her tail. Prefers 84 degrees. If I turn it up she moves to the cold side if I turn it down she waits under the heater. She will huff & puff at first while on her perch , and moves quick to your finger to smell it. kinda scary but never bit me. They prefer being alone, but once outside are curious, calm, inquisitive, fun. OH ya they have iridescence outside and a ton of blue coloring on the underside. Some of the best colors in the sun greens yellows white & blues.

Question....baby ball python...prob about 6 months old....I usually feed him like every 8 days like clockwork....never ever had a problem always a great striker and eater....however...today is feeding day but he hasn't sent to the bathroom since he ate last....should I wait for him to go to the bathroom before I feed him again...he's acting hungry but I don't want to impact him or ECT....anyone

So, I know you probably don’t list each of the 5 you talk about in the description because you want to make sure people watch the video fully, but it’d be super cool if you at least put scientific names in the description lol. P.s. if you like the first python, there are scrub and white lip pythons and golden child reticulated pythons with that iridescent beauty!
