I bought my first kx125 3 years ago and the old guy I bought from is like super old school. Riding for like 55 years. He actually had an old 50cc that he teaches new riders on, literally removed my fear of riding in 10 minutes. Now on my second kx125 and buying a new kx250 for xmas 2019!

I also notice that the looking down issue introduces another problem with rutts, if looking down you'll start to second guess you rutts and wind up in two.

Absolutely agree with everything you said. Would also like to add that standing up puts your weight on the pegs instead of the seat. Automatically lowers your center of gravity by about 18 inches. Great vid.
@m-h1269
@m-h1269 2 жыл бұрын
2 year old comment but still, that ain’t how the center of gravity works. Your mass hasn’t moved to your legs. So no standing does lower your center of gravity.

Dudes your the best I love your sense of humor,youse gotses some crazy mad riding skills.you make me raff,I like when you ride feet pointing out,knees out it makes you look so flashes more flailing arms and limbs,hah hah,yeah I used to get a lot crap from my friends.when I was on a two stroke for trying to roll the throttle on like I was road racing,they actually hanging over the fence with their fists and arm in the throttle pinned position,now we've come full circle back to a four stroke again,you did super job about the elbows up,it took me a long time to break the road racer elbows,elbows up real lets you move forward better,elbows down you can't move forward on the bike,and you really get push towards the back of bike you did a great job demonstrating the crash that results from be back to far,I like the dumb founded look too I could see it right thru your full face Helmut...priceless...nice really nice...

awesome tip about why you look ahead! ive herd it before but always explained as 'youll go where you look' which didnt make much sense to me and hence didnt stick with me. Yeah I really don’t suggest sitting while riding. I was 3rd fear full throttle while sitting and I hit a bump and I flew over my hand bars and crashed hardcore. If I wasn’t sitting and had my knees tucked in I wouldn’t have crashed. This video helped a lot and made me a more confident rider!

I broke my femur on my Honda CRF250R back in 2017. I just recently looked back at the video that my dad took when it happened, and I was sitting too far back on the bike, my knees were pointed out, my arms were low, I was sitting down, and I was slouched. I’m recently getting back into dirt biking, I’m better than I ever was before, I still have a long way to go but your videos have been helping me a lot. Thank you!
