Hi Dacob, Thanks so much for describing Bubbbles' background. I am blind, and your description of that background was quite evocative and provided me with a vivid mental image. OK, time to finish the video and the actual fragrances (which I'm sure will also be great).

I love this video. Devine delicacy and deliciousness! What a tribute to fragrances that bring out this underrated quality. I will have to revisit Paris-Riviera. The Cacharel selection you have here sounds interesting. I have been afraid of Cacharel because I bought Anais Anais as a blind buy due to remembering loving it years ago on a friend, but it is just awful on me. It smells of dusty metallic ashes on me. I can’t quite explain, but it is really unpleasant. I think my skin turns many fragrances powdery and delicate, so if a fragrance is outright known to be powdery, it is often like a powderpuff that is on the verge of bringing on a coughing fit) on my skin. Guerlain’s Chant D’Aromes Eau de Toilette seems delicate to me, but it is perhaps not the delicacy you are looking for. It smells sort of comforting. It is a frequent relaxation fragrance for me. I keep it by my bedside and wear it when reading and relaxing and spray some on my bed linens. I don’t often wear it out. When I need to pull up my energy to extrovert, it would not support this introvert in her endeavors. It is too calming for me. It is lovely. I guess it is a languorous loungy delicate fragrance for me, but is delicate too. May sound weird, but Comete on me seems delicate. If I apply this perfume when getting ready for my day, by the time I am out of the house it becomes a transparent very delicate skin scent that is quite lovely. I bought several of those adorable Chanel sample bottles online so it is in dabber form. I like it a lot, but have not committed to a full bottle. I will have to revisit Paris-Riviera. I have full bottles of three of the Les Eaux line and like them very much. Mine are Paris-Paris (my favorite), Paris Edimbourg (I adore it, but wear it mostly only for me when I am running errands or puttering), and Paris-Venice (a little sweeter than I prefer, but still makes me happy).

Hi Dacob, I really like this selection, I thought you would talk about Chance eau tendre😅! I'm glad you're keeping Alexander Mac Queen "alive" through his perfume, this one is so underrated...😢 It actually introduced me to tuberoses's scents...😊 Love you❤❤❤❤

Dacob, really enjoyed this video. I really enjoy how you combine art with all of your fragrance reviews either directly or indirectly with your reviews with Vivian Westwood or with the amazing backgrounds that accompany your reviews. They really help to set the stage for your reviews and help us understand better the abstract nature of these fragrances especially if we don’t own the specific fragrance in the video. Just masterfully done! It really helps to ground the reviews and give us context to better understand. What I love about your reviews is that they are grounded in both history and time.

maybe organza(on Shalimar) Night blooming jasmine is nota jasmine its not Sambac.. which is noted as Arabian Jasmine. its a Cestrum Nocturnum..can be grown into a huge shrub .a yellow/green tube shaped flower...i had it at my house in Laguna..i hated it when it bloomed..it was cloying and syrupy...especially on a hot night w/no breezes...lol
@essence-tiallydacob96112 ай бұрын
As per our friend google, and I quote: “Under optimal conditions, JASMIN SAMBAC plants can grow as long as nine feet in length and can bloom several times throughout the year. Their flowers usually open up in the late evening and are spent by the following morning.”
