Still using it in March 2022, I got oneplus 5T -64 GB as a gift from my co-worker, It's still working excellent. Most of my friends have changed multiple phone over this duration, but their is absolutely no issue with my phone. As you mentioned, all buttons & touch are absolutely working well. If you know, how to take care of your devices, it's gonna last long.

That's an intentional move if anything - they're gone 1080p for years for battery's sake as much as to lower cost. Also, the OP5T has better software than the Note 8 or the X (albeit w/ worse update support) and a *headphone jack*. You're paying for the brand name more than anything with the Note 8 and X.

I've just read serious indepth reviews. I'm not willing to spend high end price on hardware that is not pristine. Not mentionning the whole banding and light inconsistency things (which completely turned me down, I bought a OP5 instead), the V30 just has good but not sub-3.0 deltaE and color temperature that is a little too high both reported by GSMArena and LesNumériques (French website). Given the current market, OnePlus/Samsung/Apple in mind, LG has to pull out excellent hardware.

Playdust you can do that with current IP ratings. Most are at least guaranteed 1meter under water for 30 minutes. That means a 5 second drop in the half a meter deep hot tub won't do damage. Also not sure about you but I know I can't hold my breath a meter under water for half an hour so I think we will be fine :)

Still working great for me, I bought it soon after it came out and I STILL LOVE this phone. 6gb ram is sick. Case free with phone is sick (I've had it since I got it) Alert sliders, fingerprint, screen res and size, OS, headphone jack, battery life and fast charging all amazing. Only concern is single fire speaker that gets blocked sometimes depending on which way I play games or videos.

I mean, not really. He says it's "one of the few that still have it in 2017", but that's just not true. If you go by total sales worldwide, or even in the US or EU, most phones sold will definitely have the headphone jack. Can someone please give me a plausible reason why viewing angles matter? when ever have you looked at a phone other than from square on. Some reviews penalise a phone because of viewing angles but its completely absurd. Viewing angles cause absolutely no issue in real day to day usage.

Yeah I thought that point was ridiculous as well. If I had to guess it's an "apple thing". The X has this feature, making it visible from most angles, so if you're a fanboy you might want to penalize other phones for this....... but at the angle that was shown in this video? Just stupid...
