Watching this on my OnePlus 5. XD Honestly, for anyone looking into this phone it is amazing! I've had Galaxys and(older) iPhones and my OnePlus 5 is my favorite out of all of them. Ive been using this as my only phone for almost 4 months now, and I love it. Mine isn't the 5T but it looks like the only difference is my fingerprint scanner is on the bottom of the front and it doesn't have facial recognition. And the screen has slightly bigger bezzles due to the fingerprint scanner on the front. The price almost unrivaled in the quality of the phone as a whole. And concerning the battery life. I can regularly get around 6 hours of moblie gaming and almost 20 hours of mixed Spotify using 3.5mm headphones and Facebook/texting. Their claim that you can get a full day's charge in 30 minutes is fairly accurate. Using the dash charger, it charges from 5-8% to 57-63% in 30 minutes. Which, so long as you aren't gaming all day, can get you through comfortablely. Hope this helps if anyone was looking at this phone.

I also have an OP5 for about 3 weeks now, and damn this phone it's great! Also, i've got 100% battery charging in 42min. So yeah. A full days charge(70-80%) in 30min or a bit more. Display is amazing, fast, smooth, no lag, delay, crashing/blocking whatsoever. I've had over 50apps opened in the background and had 0 delay. It's as good as it gets. And for the price? to hell with iPhone honestly (and i do like iPhone, but it's getting raped by OP).

Yup, have had the iphone 5 for about 2-3 years now and its about time that I switched and after my friend showed me his OnePlus 5 I'm fairly certain it will be my new one that I'll treat myself to this christmas. You don't understand how terrible the camera on the iPhone 5 is. And with the insanely low price (660$ here in Canada for a brand new 5T, that's crazy for us! In comparison, the iPhone 8 is well over 900$ and I believe even ranging in the 1000s-1100s, mental when you consider the OnePlus 5T isn't even out yet!)

It was a great experience until I got an iPhone 4, which was incredible! Later changed back to Android with a Sony XPERIA... man, I loved that phone so much until the battery suddenly died on me! Then, I kept working with Android, even with a OnePlus 3! But when the iPhone X arrived, I bought it and I'm so happy with it. I even gave my OnePlus to my brother. So it's not a terrible experience. Everyone relies on what they're looking for. It also depends on how much time you really try to understand each OS. And at the end, the choice is yours, and some people will end up giving up on Android like others do with iOS.

The pixel and s9 are it's closest competitors. Call it a budget phone but most people can't even afford a $200 phone on the average income household. A phone made by a chinese company who knows everything you do? Who knows when you lock and unlock your phone, when apps are opened, used, and closed, and which Wi-Fi networks the device connects to. This is on by default, but you can turn it off. HOWEVER, you can't turn off that they also collect the phone’s IMEI, phone number, and mobile network names, so the data sent is identifiable to you personally with little to no effort required. You want to trust this company and its parent company OPPO? I wouldn't.

this has a 401 ppi I believe on this 6 inch display... shouldn't be too bad. Not at the level up Samsung's super display obviously, but for $500 plus on top of that you're getting fast software and the best charging technology, it's worth it.

I just received my Oneplus 9R after more than 3 and a half year spent with the 5T. I cannot express how much I loved this phone and how long it managed to remain an incredible android experience. The battery was still taking me through an entire day and I can only wish to keep my 9R as long and love it as much as this incredible flagship killer the 5T was !

Andreas Pedersen Making a custom os from scratch isnt easy at all. Why do you think most phones other than apple use android as their operating system. Well some phones do have their "own operating system" but its stil made from android. Some phones like oppo and xiaomi phones' os have some similirarities with ios if thats what you want thats probably the closest to an ios-like experience on android

It is fast... Way faster but I Know for a fact it isn't as secure like I'm sure we can unlock it with the picture/video of a person that's y the fingerprint sensor... Face unlock is just the same as it was on Android 3-4 yrs ago... Don't get me wrong I am an Android guy but yes hardware wise face id is way more superior and this thing won't work in the dark...

I'm rocking my 5t for almoust a year now and this review was partially why I got it and I must say it's great I even bought a later model the 6 for my wife and coming from Samsung galaxy s7 we both like the change and smoothness :) now I'm waiting for my OnePlus bullets wireless to come to complete the set :) and one thing more after one year of usage no signs of phone slowing down props to OnePlus.
