Spray tea tree oil 10 drops and peppermint oil 10 drops in small prayer and spray on soil. I did twice and no more mites moving. I bought this plant Florida one that had tiny mites in soil but after 2 sprays gone.

Oh Wow!!!! I'm surprised you displayed the Philo Rubrocin!!! I have one. I transferred the plant from dirt to Leca. Wish me luck!!!

Great video. I have a very young Majestic that’s growing like a Sodiroi. I have 12 baby leaves on 2 stems and 2 to unroll. It’s already a foot high. All the videos all have short plants with 2-3 larger leaves. When should I cap this baby to make her fuller? Thanks for the video.

I'll put that rubrocinctum on my list! Another awesome Video! I'm a big fan of the verrucosum because of that alienish hairy stem. It seems like it's a rather rare feature (and doesn't get passed on while crossbreeding)? Around here there popping up a lot of white knight baby plants at affordable prices (around 20€). Just bought a dark lord cuttling but this white knight (and wizard) will be in my collection as well :D

That’s so funny bc the verrucosum hairy stem creeps me out, but it does disappear in the hybrids 😂 Crazy white knight is so cheap-probably coming straight out of the TC labs! The dark lord looks awesome! Thanks for checking out the vid Max!

@@prettyingreen its actually hard to acquire a rubrocinctum in Germany. But there was a cheap Glorious cutling which i Just picked up. I saw it as sign 😅

Are spider mites worse in leca?
@melanieklarofficial11 ай бұрын
If I get a little starter plant in a tiny soil plug, andI want to grow it in leca, should I take the soil plug off off and put it in water? Or let it grow some more roots in soil first since it’s so little and used to the soil plug?

Just got a Glorious. It's in soil and I'd like to convert it to leca. Besides cleaning the roots well, is there anything else I need to know?
@prettyingreen2 жыл бұрын
Try and use a small media in combination with the LECA. I mixed about 30% perlite 70% leca to fill in the gaps for the thinner/smaller root system. And keep on the mites with Neem!

That's good to know. Thanks for the help!

I had to laugh at saying you didn't want to include expensive ones, the closest nursery to me has a Jose Buono for $800 and it is the only one I've ever seen in person. But if it is so easy to propogate and grows quickly, maybe I can just be patient till more is out there and the prices come down. Glad to see some of these look so happy in LECA, guess I'll have one less reason to not give in to my impulse buys haha.
