Caution when get the K-100 II! 1. never exceed 400km/h if you don't want bang the ground 2. Engine will get heat around 2 minutes, recommend to use Manual Engine Control 3. The XP-50 really should be #1 if you just want to play US. It being at the br it is with the performance it has AND the air spawn is disgusting. It has comparable performance to the F7F at 6.7, and will actually often times out perform the F7F especially in any sort of equal altitude fight. The P-47 is *fine* if you want a premium. But in all the trees the P-47 is in there are far better options, including some premiums that are similar in price. USA has the F4U-4 that has a better bomb load and can out turn 109s and it can climb faster and it has better energy retention... So basically it does everything better. Germany has the strike variant of the 190 that has better guns and is actually a good energy fighter, or the Do335 that has good anti tank guns and bombs, as well as a really good top speed that makes it a great energy fighter. And the Russians have the I-185 or the I-16 that are both just flat better at everything then the P-47. Meanwhile the XP-50 is just the crowning peek of new players being shit at the game and buying premiums, just to drag down that premiums BR to the darkest depths of noob stomping capability. The XP-50 literally just makes any 3.0-5.0 energy fighter redundant the second it appears in a game. You wanna play your plane that is good at climbing and has good energy retention? Too bad the XP 50 has 3km altitude over your entire team and can out turn all of you, might as well head back to the hangar now because if that player has the vaguest idea of how to play air RB your whole team is fucked.

These are beginner premium vehicles that cost GE and are 4.3BR and below. Regardless of how relatively easy the A-5C is, it's still high BR, a jet (not for beginners), and is a pack vehicle.

Just so everyone knows, if you are going to bomb in air RB with the BTD-1, you should use the sea mines and not the 1000lb bombs. Reason is that 1 of the sea mines has almost, maybe little more, TNT equivalent to the 2,000lb bomb that it can carry. So take 2 of the sea mines is basically taking 2 of the 2,000 lb bombs, but the BTD-1 can only take 1 x 2,000 lb

@@fierroboy1 it's crazy how powerful low tier bombers can be, the Ju-88 is amazing, both of them, the Ju-88 A-4 is my favorite, I can destroy all the bases and if there are more bombers in my team we can take the airfield in one run like the Catalina, it got decent defensive armament for it's BR, great bomb load and the speed, it can outrun almost everything except the Mig-3, it also makes for a nice CAS plane, I use it on my 5.3 line up and it holds up pretty good with it's 1x500kg and 1x1000kg bombs, I wish War Thunder had more versions of it like Battlefield 5 does

I have no experience with any of these aircraft, but my favorite premium is probably the A6M5 ko from the campaign pack. It's not a GE vehicle like these of course, but I just got sooooo much worth out of that aircraft. Used it to grind 90% of the tree that I've gotten to. The Fw190 D-13 is also an old classic I enjoy and the F-86F-35 is a fun jet that I'd honestly consider recommending to new players despite the BR leap. I know plenty of people that hated and are horrible at lower BR prop aircraft, but love and are decent at jet gameplay.

For grinding the soviet tree I'd personally recommend to wait for the beginning of march to get the Pokryshkin's P-39N-0. Although the 37mm belts are still wasted (thanks Gaijin), this cobra is first of all rank 3 and is the best aircobra in terms of performance.

Also go for the F2G1. Pretty solid aircraft for under $10, and pretty good BR as well. It is one of the most accessible premium aircrafts for grinding, and is a good CAS for American lineups up to the jet range.

I would recommend the CAC Boomerang in the British tech tree. Nobody knows what it is, so a suprising number of people will try to turnfight it. You can't. The boomerang is one of the most manouverable aircraft in the game (excluding biplanes) and probably the most manouverable at its low br of 3.0. It's really easy to learn to fly - climb to 11,000 feet, level off (the engine doesn't really work at high altitudes) and turnfight anything you see. It's also pretty cheap (1150 GE but I got it on sale for I think 750 GE), and its sibling the Wirraway is even cheaper and a great pick for a low tier CAS plane, with 2x 250lb and 2x 500lb at 1.3. Overall the boomerang is incredibly manouverable, looks cool, has 4000 round of .303 ammo, is cheap and is a very good sl grinder. Also, nobody knows how to fight it, so most will just try to turnfight you. The downsides are that it is pretty slow, the engine doesn't really work above 12,000 ft, it has no bombs even though it could carry them irl, and it only has 120 rounds of 20mm hispano ammo.

I thought the a2d1 was a pretty great premium back when it was first out. Basically got me through to rank 6 by itself. Unfortunately its no longer the case since its not a 9.0 in arcade (like why?) And in realistic its a 7.0 but usually fights more agile cold war jets

I have all of the top 5s, with the Thunderbolt being my final pick from the last WP shop. Not sure if I gonna use it much, if at all, do the Hellcat Mk II has all my needs covered both in tank and naval battles respectably. And to be honest I don't know when was the last time i picked a P-47 for any role over something else.

I like the P-47s for those matches where I do numerous things in a single match. Rarely do I ever go into a match without a full payload. As a fighter, there are better fighters at 4.0BR, just like there are better bombers, though, in my opinion, there are few better CAS planes. Either way, I like that it can do all of those things in the same match, even if it's not the best at any one of them in particular.

The Ki-44 II is Lowkey a Great and Fun Starter plane especially for the Japanese Tech Tree, It's also a really good SL grinder especially if one is not skilled enough or has to practice for Higher BR games. I personally use it to SL grind with boosters because it always guarantees you a bomber kill or two, it's also a very good Dogfighter especially for a Japanese plane. The main thing why i love it so much is the 40mm Shotgun which can Decimate well placed Shots and the 12mm Air Targets with Tracers are also a really good thing for most Japanese planes, I'd give it a Buy especially if someone's willing to grind the Ki family. Also This reccomendation is kinda biased because it's one of the few Premium planes i Own so forgive me if im being too Biased.

EDIT: Just finished watching this shit, im not a hater of yours but this guide is incredibly misleading. LIterally recommending new comers to buy the BF109 at 1.3 "True dogfighting era". Good premiums are the BV238, A6m5Ko, BF109F4, or the Romanian G2 for props,. Those are the main premiums that can actually have an impact in a match, though the BTD is coo. Higher tiers shouldnt even sell planes for beginners but it should be the F5C, Yak38, Sea Vixen, A5C because last 3 have stupidly good missiles at their BR and equal almost 2 free kills. AV8 and harrier with sraams apply too.

I've never found the P-47 to be that durable. When I fight it, I shoot it down super quick, usually just a few rounds from .50 Cal or larger, and likewise when I fly it. It is fast, and with good armament and payload, so makes a good energy fighter/bomber, but it turns like a cruise ship, so it's no good for dog-fighting anything more nimble than a two toed sloth.

...you didn't just call the BF-109F4 a balanced plane... lmao. One of the best if not the best 4.0 plane by far. I wouldn't but the premium 109F4 though as the TT one is exactly the same and allies at that br have been braindead for years. Id also put the F4U1A in the Japanese tree. 2.7, great flight performance, 6 .50 cals and huge sl multiplier. Great for SL grinding. Top 3 for me would be XP-50, XP-55, and Japanese F4U1A. XP-55 is incredibly broken with its UFO flight model and is very fun.

a fantastic plane for its BR is the Westland Wyvern, and the XA-38 Grizzly. the Wyvern because it can carry 3x1,000lb bombs and go over 600 kph in level flight AT 4.7! And the XA-38 Grizzly because it's essentially an A-26 with a similar 75mm gun to the Shermans, can penetrate up to 100 ish mm of armor, and can carry up to 2,000lbs of bombs again, at 4.7 ish BR. the Grizzly is really only useful in Ground RB, as is the Wyvern, although the Wyvern is useful in Air RB because of it's speed and Airspawn (Grizzly gets airspawn too, but its far slower) and it has 4x20mm Hispano cannons, which are quite useful because after you drop your bombs you become what is effectively a Jet fighter as your speed is unmatched at that battle rating.

i have the B25 and i usally bomb a base and then head on what ever is trying to come after me. the BV is great even if one match is total loss you automaticly end up squading up with others in the next match who also have one and fly together. if 2 or more are flying information you are untouchable. the BTD i have since ages but dont use it anymore since i had the A2D. the Mustang Mk.1 is really great it used to be garbage years ago with sparkling and no damage on the 20mm but now oh boy its one of my most used british planes and i continue to grind the rest of the tree with it + great money maker. the US Zero is also neat for the people that prefer turn fighting vs boom and zoom.

One tip I can give for the BTD-1. Carry the 2000lb bomb and just drop it off of spawn... start climbing and be a bomber hunter. Even fighters will return to monke and zoom climb up to you only to get slaughtered by the 2xM2 20mm you have. It compresses quite alot in dives though

as an experienced player, the B-10B is a great plane for any type of player, new or veteran. it only has four 7.62mm MGs but it's well armed for its BR of 1.3 because of the layout or said weapons (one gun Dorsal, Ventral, and Nose mounted) and can carry up to 2,000lbs of bombs which is nuts at 1.3. it can do so in 2x 1000lb bombs which now drop individually, or in a single 2,000lb bomb. basically it's a baby Pe-8

BTD rolls around like a washing machine makes it seem unstable. British Avenger is not on the list ? Shame on you. 1.7 BR SL reward is insane . In down tiers you can take out two bases with 4 x 500lb bombs = more than 20,000 SL. Then go bomber hunting with 2x 50 cals with good ammo with most of the enemy having pew pews. Plus it can take damage it's tanky AF. I average 30-50,000 SL a match .Repair costs only 1,500 SL.

Yup, I'd seen the BTD-1 touted in several vids like this. And it does have the advantages folks mention, not disputing that. Lol, but none of those videos had mentioned that it's not the easiest plane to control in RB. Flies indeed like a bomber...and not the more nimble variety.

As someone with hundreds of battles clocked in the BTD-1 destroyer, I will NOT recommend it. This thing is good at one thing only, and that is bombing bases and that's it. You can't fight fighters after one turn, you can't bomb accurately in ground rb and that's because the BTD has a bomb bay. The way this plane rolls around in a dive(which isn't in your control), this will make you miss your targets as opposed to wing mounted bombs. Slight rolls and massive inaccuracy in your drops. Also the BTD compresses hard in a dive and WILL NOT recover from it, even slight dives. The only saving grace of this thing used to be that it could carry two torps and you could skin 2 carriers in pacific maps, leaving Japanese enemies at a disadvantage. But since now we no longer have histrocial match making, you don't get to use torps. Anyways, with 400 battles clocked in, I will NOT recommend it.

I should add that it is good in grinding events, it helps alot in grinding those bombing tasks.

You should do a BV review. Especially on la ding/taking off in combined battles.
