And yes sync 3 much needed attest if not android auto Apple etc.... but only submission from my side is , freestyle and ecosport are mainly focussed on off road or bad roads. Where normal reflector light will help more than projector head lights. Actually these all things doesn't matter. Safety features are lots and lots in it. So TATA and FORD are the mototrs which we should consider. After all car is a machine not any fancy toy.... Please be noted that ford DCT gearbox which they call as powershift DCT, was a failed product, they launched it knowing the fact of defects. In other countries ford had to face trials and offered free replacement, but in india courts are too slow to give relief to consumers. Discontinued in 2017, buy still they sell it in india till stock left. Now what about maintenance. Now ecosport is launched with torque converter, but indian climate with heat producing torque converter with planetary gares. Can be a disaster to. Zc transmission is only offered in flagship cars only. Ford proved themselves very unreliable for auto transmission. So not only features, but also. Trust they lost.

I have booked ford Figo titanium blu on June 24 2020. and they said delivery will be given by July 31 2020.but they didn't give delivery. and when I contacted ford india they said they will give delivery by September 30.but they didn't deliver. so I cancelled booking and bought hyundai verna. Worst experience with ford.

@@ramapuragp406 First of all negotiate to a maximum value. I got 25k discount on ON ROAD PRICE which I think is common all over India. Don't buy insurance from the car dealer. U will save min ₹10,000 and avoid essencial accessories. Ask them to give ₹5,000 valued accessories for free. I got the same. We can buy extended warranty after 2 yrs, since it is not hurry to buy at the time of car purchase. And import, don't buy bank loan through car dealer. They have huge margin in it, from emi also they have margin. So ve careful on this part. So, keep in mind that we are buying only car from them. Don't let them sell everything you want to buy at the time of buying a car. Ask me if you have any difficulty with dealer. I can guide on what to do based on my experience. Thanks

Actually most car companies I know have the same goal..they just have slightly different approaches to get there. E.g. Kia offers 6bags only on their overpriced top end. Many of the safety feats are only available at the top

Ford Freestyle could have been market killer for brezza, sonet, venue etc post BS6 regulations, had they continue to offer diesel Ambiente varient. And the most important thing they need to improve the aesthetics of interior. Black inside roof, Brown dashboard and no handrest is the biggest problem with Freestyle. Another big problem is that only Ecosport can provide you a good resale value, so keeping this in mind a buyer would obviously go for base model of Ecosport rather than buying a top model of Freestyle. Freestyle is a "small Ecosport" and indian buyers should give this car a proper respect it deserves. Love ford👌👍

You have very rightly pointed out the reasons. Being a second time Ford owner I think the Ford really has to put features in the cars as per the market demand. You can’t sell cars only on the ground of build quality and driving pleasure. I’m planning to go for my next ford vehicle but just that the features being offered are so out of competition that I might be compelled to go for some other manufacturer this time. There are many parts in India where Ford service is not even available, I have a relative who purchased Ford Ecosport but unfortunately just after 1 year of usage, there is some issue with the transmission unit and the company people are saying that although it will be replaced under warranty but it will need time for them to import the unit as they do not have the unit with them right now. So from last 6-7 months the car is lying useless in the garage!!. This is so unfortunate and only for this reason I shifted my mind from buying a Ford Car!!

Heavy clutch is a concern, the first time I drove the figo diesel, the clutch is not at all friendly, heavy clutch and that too long travel is such a sore for your legs. You will certainly feel a left leg day every day with this car, but the five speed transmission won't matter because the gears are very tall, and they are so tall that you won't feel the power of 100bhp and 215Nm torque after 2nd gear at all

Exactly Once you own a ford fiesta 1.6sxi petrol for ten years ...Now searching for an upgrade ..you will find most of their cars are Junk.It applies across the whole price band of All brands expect Honda City ivetc 2020.Now we have more TinCans from Korea and China even from France too with all bells and whistles without a decent engine.
