can we just take a minute to appreciate the courage this woman (0:30) displayed by speaking her mind ✨respectfully✨ despite it being an unpopular opinion these days where the social climate is progressive and pro LGBTQ in almost all aspects. Considering she’s going for an international crown where the new owner is a Thai trans woman, I feel like most contestants would try to get on the “good side” of the MUO owner. I’m so glad to see an example of someone’s authenticity regardless of any risks. She stayed true to herself and it was refreshing to see.

I think Baguio had the most controversial question, however Zambales got the most difficult question and they both answered it well. I am proud of them because they are not just a 'pasarela' queen as the people always say but this round, they proved that they can also slay the Q&A round.

I don’t think Baguio’s question is controversial. It’s a plain question that can be answered by common sense. What made it problematic was the reaction of some of the LGBT community members because they were expecting favorable response, but they did not. Ang mahirap sa community na ito is anything that is misaligned with their beliefs (kahit baluktot) is wrong.

She's not only beautiful but she's a queen in her own right. The way she carried her evening gown is one of the best that night. Alluring and exuding confidence. PAMPANGA: Very articulate and intelligent. Her beauty is admirable. The green gown suited her skin tone and that long straight hair sealed the deal. BOHOL: When she answered this question, she's like a friend you can count on. Her look reminds me of Oxana Federova (Miss Universe 2002, the most beautiful Miss Universe winner of all time) ZAMBALES: She is a performer on stage. She didn't came to play but to slay. Of all the Top 5 women, she hit the bulls-eye when it comes to question and answer. Her walk was inspired by her iconic mom, Melanie Marquez (Miss International 1979). I love how Michelle Dee of Makati answered her Q&A in an outline manner. She's a fast thinker and she reminds me of PIa Wurtzbach :) siguro kasi yon pagiging snappy at well read niya. She's right in all levels when she weighs - food, education and homes as human necessities in a society, she didn't say shelter which is very smart. Then she sub-outlined, that education could have the best possible way to close the gap between rich and poor, kasi tama naman siya, kung educated ka then you can compete with the society but not just being educated per se but something that comes with quality din. Kasi not everyone can have equal consumption of food especially mahal na bilihin mayaman lang maka-afford non. She said "homes" kasi not everyone can afford nice homes, not all families shared the same complete family, some are broken families. That's why Miss Makati won already in this round sa totoo lang.

Makati, Pampanga and Bohol all gave solid answers, but I think it was in the delivery where Michelle and Mary slimly edged out Pauline. Michelle’s slight head and hand gesticulations draw one’s attention deeper, Mary’s laser-focused words left me awed, and Pauline’s superb coolness gave me the Andrea Meza vibe. Any of these 3 would have made a fantastic Miss Universe Philippines in my humble opinion. I hope Pampanga returns next year to claim her turn as the next Miss Universe Philippines. My sentimental favorite Pauline will always be a winner in my heart. Pauline’s tenacity will take her to great heights beyond pageantry.

Oh that is unfortunate. I haven’t been following the competition but saw her fir first time in this clip & I don’t know why but she has a winner quality to me. Baguio - got a very difficult question, delivery lacked confidence, I would have loved for her to win. I hope she tries again next year. Pampanga - wow, the best answer imo Bohol - the frontrunner seemed nervous and provided a very generic answer Zambales - very thoughtful answer, delivery should be a bit stronger Makati - she spoke articulately and didn't seem nervous at all, not surprised that she won

My ranking on this Q&A 1. Makati 2. Pampanga 3. Baguio 4. Zambales 5 Bohol Bohol did not answer the question. She mentioned about an action to take to make the digital space safe. What action is she planning to lead? She just said "by leading in that action". We're clueless about that action. So she did not answer the question. And just because someone speaks English well doesn't mean she answered the question well too.
