Windsurf foiling is also very cool. I love it. Recently started winging too. At first I was disappointed of how easy it was. I guess I am one of the few diehards windsurfers. I just love the feel of the mast connected to the board and driving the whole contraption fin or foil. I’m yet to carve more time winging, it’s 3rd on the list every time I go to the beach.

I’m a longtime windsurfer myself. I actually like that the wing is not connected to the board, it allows a lot more freedom and makes tacking much smoother. So many choices! 🤙🏼

True. Everyone says that. I need to spend more time doing it. For sure it’s easier to travel with. Reminds me of skateboarding, carve from the ankles no sail to counterbalance with. Great content. I get a lot of information from your videos. 🤙

40 years of windsurfing here and I still like getting out on a day with decent waves and doing forward and back loops but winging is now my go to sport. Its so amazing that its almost science fiction. You can definitely pick it up fast but the real fun is in the transitions and swell riding.

Yes it does take some time and dedication and it can be frustrating in the beginning. Keep going and don’t give up 🤙🏼

Sorry guys... 1/ the foil is just one more appendage on a heavy surfboard. keep it simple 2/ Like all sliding sports with less comfort when starting 3/ The only point I admit is another feeling, but what a cruel lack of character 4/ It's the same for all boardsports, kiteboarding, windsurfing etc... 5/ I agree! 🙂 That's only good reason !
