Since this was a Time Remnant of Zoom, I think a cool plot twist would have been having him actually changed by his time with team flash, turning on Zoom and eventually dying to help them.

I think the time remnant was only on the sidelines when needed like if him and zoom had to be in the same place or he simply made a speed mirage in a situation like that, and then only made the time remnant to kill. Hunter would have been the one who wanted to experience the most of what he could do so on his earth he was probably constantly switching between jay and zoom and having the time remnant do the same

He probably thought about it. He might have ran to the future and seen how cringe the flash turns out and simply changed his mind though.

"Jay" was not a time remnant the whole time. When Hunter was explaining his plan he says he made the time remnant after the team had closed all the breaches and went to earth-2 since he was not fast enough to be on two earths at once.

Disagree with #5. Yes Barry didn't trust him. But it wasn't because Barry had a bad feeling about him. Barry's distrust was fueled by all the wrong reasons: by grief, fear, and betrayal. Had Iris not snapped him out of his funk (treating every new person like a criminal), Barry's decision making throughout the season would have been driven by all the wrong reasons. It's likely he would have made even more mistakes. Kendra would have been immediately locked up and so would have E2 Harry. Hunter just unforunately happened to be around when Barry was finally open to trusting again. Don't forget, the team did their due diligence in making sure "Jay" checked out. Hunter was just a few steps ahead of them all season.

L comment everytime Barry doesn’t trust someone new they always end up the enemy which shows in season 4 as well didn’t trust devoe yet his team again tried to talk him out of it and where did that end up Barry being right same with bloodwork Barry trusted him because he changed but that didn’t go far because blood work betrayed Barry as well and was stealing from star labs and ended up the “villain”

It's not an emotional maturity thing. It's a negative speed force thing. All the speed based flash villains are attracted to the flash like opposite poles of a magnet. That's why Barry instantly has that reaction to them. He couldn't sus out the first Harrison Wells cus HW was running low on speedmAND Barry was still a noob.

I got it in Episode 14 when 'Jay' was with Caitlin and Joe and it said that Barry and co would be trapped if it wasn't fixed and the camera focused on 'Jay's' face. There was a look of almost glee, almost triumph.

What we knew from meeting the man in the iron mask was that Jay Garrick as we knew him was Zoom. That's what the man was trying to tell him. Or at least it could certainly be taken that way. It wasn't actually clear that the prisoners name was Jay Garrick until Hunter revealed that himself.

The thing is Jay Garrick wasn't always an elder Flash and this show isn't always accurate so #1 isn't really fair. The rest are though and well done.

for me what gave it away was that Jay very conveniently Clark Kented Zoom all of the time like shortly before Zoom showed up the first time Jay said he would not be part of the plan and then disappeared zoom shows up then once Zoom is long gone Jay shows back up

well, actually there is two more details, one is the fighting with Harry, and Zoom fight with barry, the fighting style is literally the same. The other is Barry's dad reaction to hearing the name Garrick.

First, my brother told me that "Jay" is the Zoom, but I thought, why? My brother is an expert with comic books, he pretty knows more than me too be honest, I'm book smart - my brother is comic book smart, he understands riddles (I understand clues). The point is that he told me that Jay is supposed to be old man, but I thought that they made Jay younger, to make it more exciting. Let's be clear, i knew that Savitar was Barry before the revelation. My brother warned me before the revelation but I didn't believed him. With Savitar, it's completely different, because Savitar target the Flash team and Julian (unless you count him as a member of Flash Team), think about it, Savitar target their emotional spot, a spot where you get support from friends or by friends. It's having a bully. I had a best friend in school, for 7 years, came to high school, she and another mean girl bullied me, the point is that she told her pal about my dreams, my fears, my strengths & weaknesses and my emotional spots. That's how I knew that Savitar was Barry. Only a best friend would know everything about you, only to use it against you. Sure, it would be brother or sister, but every one has a best friends to tell secrets to each other.

Zoom is like reverse flash.They orchestrated the whole thing.And made sure too break them so hard too relearn the same mistake twice now.And ironic barry would end up being their mentors at his journey.This is a good twist since at least we should know well how too trust our guts and instincts before our feelings too the new people we met.Since we don't want too repeat it again and lose the one's we love here.This made me love this series cause of the message.But during s4-s9?I feel like were missig the point of this now.I sure miss this kinda trope but no flash is now a power rangers storyline here.That is the last macoffin by cw now!❤‍🔥🗯👁‍🗨💬✍👍

Agree with all except 5 barry didnt trust hunter because he was a bad guy but because of all the gruef he had from trusting thawne i mean the man he looked up to killed his mom. Barry's biggest weakness is trusting too easily when oliver met thawne he was like something was off about him oliver isnt too much easily trustful. Also how jay was sick and zoom wabted barrys speed and jay was never around whenever they fought zoom i knew that jay would be zoom even tho i just started flash this year

I knew it from the second i saw him. I just had a feeling and glued everything else together. Plus it really didn't feel like he liked Caitlin at all. Just like i knew Dr. Wells in a wheel chair was evil from the moment i saw him on screen.

he made up the story. he probably just tossed his helmet into the breach. either that or it may have been a time remnant since he's made plenty of those in order to look like the good guy

im pretty sure the "jay" that was around team flash the whole time was a time remnant, with his speed removed. it would explain how they detected no dark matter or connection to the speedforce in him. the zoom we see in the suit is the original, who ends up killing his time remnant that was on team flash.

We didn't know there was an earth 2 Caitlin that was Killer Frost until they went to earth 2 so we wouldn't have used that perhaps. Also another explanation could have been that if 'Jay' was a genuine hero he might not have come across killer frost just as Barry had never heard of the Turtle before he beat him

I don't think #1 is a reason. Nobody knew anything about how old "Jay" is supposed to be. The whole time "Jay" was with Team Flash, there was no mention that he was supposed to be an elder Flash and nobody on Earth-2 had any reason to notice his younger imposter. After all, if you look like the original, people will immediately trust you. It's the same reason Eobard Thawne impersonating Harrison Wells was so convincing that it took an entire season to find out he's an imposter
