Speaking nostalgically, you can't beat the '86 movie, but in terms of storytelling, character development, quality, I agree that Transformers One is easily the best Transformers movie ever made. It's a shame that it hasn't done very well in theaters, and I'm really hoping it will be saved by word of mouth in the next few weekends because this is the TF movie that fans have been waiting for, and i really want to see them continue this storyline.

I just saw TF One last night, as someone who grew up in the 80’s and I have always been a TF fan of the original G1 series. I was actually surprised how much I liked this movie. It was really really good. I just gotta say Megs was the star of this movie for me! I can’t wait for the sequel. Also I just wanna add the 86 movie is still my favorite TF movie of all time though.

The other thing about this movie that amazes me is it's 104 minutes. So you go in thinking this is going to be so short and will cut corners. But it keeps it all going and it actually feels you're in there for a good 2 hours. It doesn't feel short, it doesn't cut corners like the 86 movie.

Chris hemsworth said that he never wanted to to replicate peter cullens voice He wanted to use things Cullen had said about the voice as inspiration Which is why over the film you see him build that oratoration and cadence as he becomes the leader we all know... Same with Brian tryee Henry as D-16/Megatron Both of them change their vocal cadences over the course of the film

I love the '86 Transformers movie. It was great to see the weapons actually do something and the hits matter and just the shock and awe of it! I don't understand why killing the transformers in the movie matters in regards to the toys, it never for a second impacted my ability to have fun with the toys. If anything the movie made how my imagination made the battles look when I played with the toys, come to life. It was great! The Autobot boombox was just Blaster.

The breaking of D-16 and Orian Pax story even when we KNOW where D-16 became Megatron and the RISE of Optimus Prime by the 13th Primes led by Alpha Trion, who was great, was the best part for me of this movie. Also Sential Prime was perfect for this movie and as lore now for this Transformers universe moving forward now. Next mocvie will be the end of the WAR AGAINST OPTIMUS PRIME AND THE AUTOBOTS AND MEGATRON AND THE DECEPTICONS!!!!!! REALLY LOVED THIS MOVIE AND WILK WATCH IT AGAIN!!!!!!

The sequel will be them fighting the Quintessans who will cause the next war. The final movie to end the triolgy will be the war between Autobots and Decepticons where the must now abandoned Cybertron to find new energy sources which leads to Earth. That is their plan.

They dropped the ball on Rodimus Prime after the movie but his rise from Hotrod to Rodimus was dope. Even Megatron into Galvatron. Then there's the Rock Soundtrack.

86 movie was TRASH. Studio prioritized money over the fans. Killed off far too many beloved Autobot characters and barely any relevant decepticons. Killing Optimus was the nail in the coffin, worse decision they could’ve made. Trash 🗑️

As a child I didn't like the 86 movie choice to kill off autobots but I still enjoyed it cause Hotrod was cool and the transformation into Rodimus was badass at the time. Rodimus telling autobots to transform and rollout kind of made me smile. Plus the 86 movie has one of the best soundtracks off all time. Every song sounds good and just fits the moment. Need a song for Unicron that starts off calm and then goes into destruction mode got you covered. Want a good song for the intro take this heavy metal version. Need a Hotrod intro. DARE has got you covered. Optimus Prime coming into battle and cleaning house. "YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH". Need a song for killing off autobots. "Instruments of Destruction". Sharkicon are Hungry... let's go "Hunger". Need something sad... Death of Optimus Prime. You get it. Growing up I actually love the choice and I understand and now killing off Optimus is canon. Movies, Cartoon Series, Video Games, Comic Books, most of the time they kill off Optimus Prime. Sometimes he comes back, other times it's a sacrifice to end the series.

Blaster was the opposite of sound wave. Rumble, frenzy, ravage, laser beak, rat bat, is what came out of sound wave. Wonder there’s deep cuts like Braun, power glide, war path the tank. Sky linx. Thunder cracker, reflector, blitzwing? As a OG G1 head this looked like to me a extended version of the season 2 episode, war dawn. When you first learn of Optimus prime. Megaton was always megaton.

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. I love the og but outside of music it's easily inferior in almost every way imo. It's biggest flaw is that it killed Off most the cast just to replace their toys. I saw the original on the big screen in 86, and probably hundreds of times since. This has surpassed the original as my favourite Transformers movie. I literally saw it three days ago, and many times while the movie was playing, I wanted to pause the movie to take in the epicness of scenes that I was seeing on screen. I really want to see it again, on the big screen. Trust me, it is a must watch in the theatre, on the biggest screen as possible.

Because without us there wouldn't even be transformers in theaters. Blaster was the autobot ghetto blaster.. and Rumble was the guy who Soundwave ejected... the blue toy was actually named Frenzy though. I loved the parelels to the 1986 Transformers movie... how Optimus used the matrix to turn from Orion Pax... that was cool. In the cartoon he was just rebuilt by Alpha Trion.. in this one Alpha Trion still helped him become Optimus Prime in a way.
