Top 5 Ships for PVP Combat in 3.22.1

Before in a SC time long ago I was able to hold my own in pvp and all I had was Aurora Mr my 1st starter ship and took pot players flying supper hornets and other ships ... Now I had to switch to the lighting to even compete with some of the other players and ships so for pvp I'll take my lighting or MK2 over any other ship in today's SC build

You forgot to mention that the Constellation has a mobile turret with the onboard snub, and you can upgrade it to your number one snub pick. Not that it needs more hyping.

I’ve been having a lot of fun in the inferno. Went 3v1 against 3 smaller fighters and only died when I ran out of ammo

Good luck to everyone! The Avenger Titan is a great ship, especially if you're just starting out. And the Stella Fortuna paints are gorgeous. I'm not much for PVP lately, but I do pretty much agree with your picks. I'd go for the Fury over the Archimedes, but they both seem pretty close to me.

Melted my Corsair to go back to the Connie, agreed it’s overlooked easily. The Aquila would be so much better if the gunner was on top.

1: P72 is usually considered one of the worst snubs, so interesting choice. The Fury is far better. Rest of your picks are solid though, no disagreement there.

it's the fastest and most Maneuverable snub unless you're including hover vehicles. It has four guns and it's only weakness is Hull HP but the whole point of snubs is to not get hit so I feel like at the very least its not one of the worst. The fury has better offensive capabilities and better hull HP it's definitely more forgiving to fly but I prefer my snubs to be true snubs. it depends on how you want to fight i guess.

I use my Andromeda for all kinds of stuff. The main thing that bugs me with it is that sometimes the missiles don't all respawn when I rearm it or claim it. Other than that, I love everything about it. I'm really torn between buying an Andro or a Corsair with real money.

flying these ships by themselves, I agree. If its a large scale engagement then some of these ships will be under performing, imo. kind of comes with the territory of the right ship for the right job, though.

The F7C Hornet Mk II is definitely the king of medium fighters at the moment. I can’t wait to see what the F7A Mk II will be like.

I am looking more and more at the Razor EX- I reckon for shorter trips it will be a good ship to use around Pyro. Stealthy so less likely to be seen plus can move when needed.

Maybe it's just me but the timing of this video and the PvE one feel weird with Master Modes right around the corner. Hornet Mk II goes hard though, very happy with it

Arrow is more manuaver than gladius, unless that changes for this patch people considered gladius better than arrow cause double sheilds

Snub-fury super cheese Light-Gladius/arrow/blade all interchangeable Med-hornet ghost acceleration and is the meta right now Heavy-scorpius take advantage of having a turret gunner, f8 can lose because of sustained fire on target Subcap solo- corsair Subcap multi- redeemer/retaliator depends on crew count

Hmmn snubs you missed both furies. Lights you missed the balistic talon and blade. Medium you also have the ghost. And the Hurricane is still the best heavy fighter. Sub caps it depends on play style so this one is the most open.

Missed? I'm not sure I missed them so much as didnt choose them. The fury is an option but to me it doesnt fit the snub category as well because it's slower and less maneuverable. The ghost is nice but it doesn't sniff the MK II in any category except stealth and the F8 quite literally has better stats than the hurricane in every category. What am I missing?

@billionaireninjas it's OK to have preferences but I think the competition is a lot closer. The furies have 4 guns or tons of missiles to suit multiple game play options. The stealth and bugged engines make the ghost very potent till the m2 A comes out. And the Hurricane still seems to out damage the f8 probably due to turret capacitors.
