The Dayton Mall area is the most dense entertainment district in the Dayton area, within the triangle of 75, 675, 741, 725 highways/ roads. Most choices are along 725 towards Centerville.

I would agree with that. Much of the city has been migrating south and it’s now going even further south with the opening of Austin Landing and some of the shopping and dining that’s gone in down there.

What about communities north of Downtown Dayton? Maybe in your next video, include some of them. I know they are not as wealthy as the ones south of Downtown Dayton, but there has to be some that are decent places to live. Right? I ask because I’m moving back to Dayton after having lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles for 20 years. I’m being forced to leave my beloved California due to the exorbitant housing costs, not to mention bidding wars for broken down homes with no yards. I would like to own my own home and, sadly, that is not possible here for a single person with only one income. I have no children, so quality of schools is not really important to me. Thanks!

@@MikeWallrealtor Well, let’s just say that my immediate family lives along the stretch of I-70 between Huber Heights to Brookville, so I’d like to be along that stretch somewhere. Also, I would like to have (safe) wooded walking trails nearby (I’m spoiled by California). My place of employment will be on the western end of that 70 stretch. Brookville is in the middle of nowhere and Huber is a bit too far from work. Clayton, Englewood, and the area between N Main and Little York Road, perhaps? Thank you!

HA! I left Southern California over a year and a half ago. I sold my home and plunked down on a home here right behind where the former Good Samaritan Hospital use to be. There are some nice pocket neighborhoods north of downtown Ilke going towards the airport, and Englewood. You are right. It is not possible for a single person to own a home in California (on one income even if it's a just about 90-110K income). I do plan on buying a mobile home back in California so I can do 7mos in Ohio and 5mos back in California.
