Last year i bought 3 grafted pepper plants and have overwintered them. They've got thick trunks and loads of growth already so I'll be getting another 2 this year

I grow sweet peppers from starts because in SW Canada the grow season for them seems too short and I only need about 4. But yes but 😂😂 I have sown some bulls horn and sweet chillies in the house. Great to see you back Barry have a great week, Ali 🇨🇦

I know I don't know how you do it in your climate! It snowed for 3 days here, it stuck on the third night (around 3-4 inches) and was gone again by the afternoon. Cheers Ali have a great week in the garden!

Brilliant, it doesn’t get much better for peppers than Portugal! Good luck with them.

I tried in the polytunnel last year but the fruits were eaten by slugs so this year I am trying in the new potting shed. Doing Torri di Rossa. North Wales

Oh no! My greenhouse was raided by a load of rats last year so I’m going all out this year to protect my peppers! They look really nice I haven’t tried those, I might have to give them a go next year!

Carmen F1, Jimmy Nardello, Lipstick, Ajvarski, Violet Sparkle... all productive and very sweet. Bells and snack peppers so overrated
@nellg161210 ай бұрын
Why keep buying them? U don't harvest your own seeds from your own peppers?
@GrowIt9 ай бұрын
I don't collect seeds from F1 varieties because of genetic variation. I usually buy a couple of new varieties when I see them and they last me ages.

With an accent like yours I assume you are in North East England and NOT in the North East of the UK. Different growing conditions in those differing areas.
