Am I the only one who feels Kilowattrel should be in the conversation? Only one base speed slower than Talon, has Competitive to pressure Intimidate, and has the ability to pivot with Volt Switch for a strong lead option

Vivillon is a lot more of a niche pick, which is why it’s not on the list. It definitely has potential, although I think friend guard is a better ability as you get to help keep your partner healthy as you set tailwind (you can still run sleep powder, it’s just less accurate) It actually made top 8 in a recent online tournament, so there’s is for sure a spot for it right now

@@SableyeVGC I’m glad you do. I’m tryina make a team that incorporates it. I Rmr how annoying mandibuzz was in Gen 7 when it was paired with Tapu fini or Lele and it held a psychic seed or misty seed and just spammed snarl or foul play. Glimmora adding potential poison to the field makes a tanky set like Mandibuzz all the more lethal. I think corviknight could also work
