Couldn’t agree more on the balanced leech for river fishing. One of my favorite smallmouth patterns and highly effective on the Lake Ontario tribs for the lake run browns and bows!

I’ve used plenty of gurglers for Largemouth bass and saltwater surf fishing, but I never tried it for freshwater trout! Will have to give it a go 🎣🎣

Due to my location I am pretty much limited to bass, panfish, and a few stock trout. All of these flies look like they would be excellent for bass. I will be tying a few of them.
