@035gogmofo65 жыл бұрын
true but 80% of the fruit and veggies are not good. in the way that is brown and not fresh at all. thats why in the countrys like this eat a lot of canned food.
@ivansologubov56315 жыл бұрын
@@035gogmofo6 you are not right about the quality. The thing is that to sell it that cheap the shops (or whoever is selling) often don't really sort out bad ones and don't wash it. So if you'll look at some typical shop photos, you could really see some mess, but it's not what people actually eat. Customers just choose the best veggies and wash it at home from dirt themselves.
@035gogmofo65 жыл бұрын
@@ivansologubov5631 yeah you got much non fabric veggies, that's one reason why its cheap. But in the most cases the veggies are just not good. That's why people in the eastside only eat potatoes, onion and meat. only basic food. because in the eastside you dont have much diffrent good veggies.
@subliminalslove6125 жыл бұрын
@@035gogmofo6 as a person who lives on the "eastside" our veggies are normal. They are just easy and cheap to grow and aren't prewashed so they are pretty cheap in stores. Idk where you got the idea they are not good, because they are just normal veggies

Well...to some degree. It is truly cheap, but the price does not apply to everyone I'm afraid. A cup of rice would set you back about a dollar in Sweden. A tiny can of canned tuna costs 3-4 dollars. So many of these recipes would cost between 8-15 dollars to make.

Communism saved people from "healthy" marketing until 1991 and all "healthy' shit in Slav and Baltic countries is expensive as fuck. No shit, nobody bought into that, when many people actually grew their own food at villages. What westerners call home steading, frugal or some other term, was just completely normal and most common way that people lived in those countries. Different culture, that's all. And despite massive changes in politics, many people still do same things like being frugal, growing their own food and laughing at Americans for being stupid.

I haven't seen many of this guy's videos before but every time one pops up randomly I really enjoy myself. I suffer from pretty bad depression and I'm also very poor, so not only is it difficult to purchase a lot of food to begin with, it's very difficult to be motivated enough to make myself food to begin with it. This really made me happy to see and motivated me to want to cook too. It also reminds me of when my hobo friend used to cook for me and my family when he stayed with us sometimes. He made the best food that was really healthy for you. He sadly moved away recently (with his family! he's not a hobo anymore) and that got me down a bit since I miss him. I dunno why I'm being so sentimental, but I just wanted to say thank you. I don't know you channel very well but every time I see a video of yours pop up it makes me really happy. Best advise i could give you, dont give up! Depressions are like a fucking spiral, you need to escape that spiral, otherwise you are going down. Been there, at the bottom. Never thought i could escape that insane deep pit. But i managed to pull myself together. Step by step. It takes time, it takes effort, it takes sweat and it takes a lot of tears. I consider myself at the top now. I have everything i could ever wish for. But i will never forget where it all came from. Give your life a little spark of hope, and it will eventually light up a bonfire. You will get there eventually. Good luck mate and keep your head up :*

Oh, my international slav friends! Boris Special! Just ate some, it worked the first time! I've always made fried potatoes from already cooked ones. This was GREAT. I feel so happy inside! (I know from experience that eating under cooked potato will make big trouble inside)... Crisp and brown, delicious smell everywhere, one of the best potato experiences ever, just from following instructions. Duke's mayonnaise on top... never put mayo on fried potatoes before, probably will never fail to do in the future. I think my life has changed a little, thanks to the word of BORIS! I sent this to someone who just started university also.
@ApertureGaming0117 жыл бұрын
I did try it twice with my bro, and just like what you said, it was heaven. But due to the fact that the recipe lacked protein (I think), I had to add some tiny sausages you can find in those Korean marts (They're called Viennas). Cook the sausages before you add the potatoes, then you're golden.
@rudolfdirks92537 жыл бұрын
ApertureGaming011 you can add eggs or sausages if you like, but If you want the very best potato experience ever, then fry just potatoes with a little oil and seasoning, after taking a bite drink a sip of milk and you'll be in heaven. Btw: you can add anything (seriously, as long as it is nothing poisonous) to the potatos, but I suggest trying out eggs, lyoner (I don't know how it is called in English, but it's a pink kind of sausage) or onions
@rudolfdirks92536 жыл бұрын
Armoured Productions do it however you like, in this case almost everything is up to you
@leonardpearlman40176 жыл бұрын
Tried the potatoes another time with a small amount of bacon added... it was really delicious, but maybe it's a different dish now. We sometimes get irregular bacon which is much cheaper. The best is "jowl", like smoky bacon made out of the pig's face. It's insanely delicious and cheap also. You have to cut it up yourself, so there's lots of little odd pieces to fry like this, or put in soup.
@pivinne55366 жыл бұрын
Crack the egg on top and mix it in, boris has done it like that and it combines better with the potatoes

Here in my country, we have this soup that tastes really great! I dont remember what its called but here's how to make it! You will need: A can of evaporated milk Macaroni Carrots 1/2 Cabbage Chicken breast A big pot How do you make it? Here's how! First, boil the chicken meat until it is soft. Then cut the carrots into little circles (Any shape is good, i just like them in circles) After that, cut the cabbage into tiny pieces (Unless you want big chunks of leafy greens in your mouth, i suggest you cut them) Once chicken meat is soft Chop them up into squares, Then get a big pot, Add in macaroni, set it to boil After that, once water is boiling and macaroni is soft, add carrots, cabbage, and chicken breast. After doing that, open your can of evaporated milk, pour it in, wait for 5-10 minutes, your soup is ready!

There's a thing we do around here (SE Brazil) that we call "mexido" (mixed). To make it, take whatever is left over from yesterday's/last week's meals: beef, chicken, pork, ham idk; make it into small pieces, heat it up. Make rice and scrambled eggs, cube and cook whatever vegetables you have in your fridge to stave off scurvy and other diseases. Mix everything together. DONE. It's very similar to the rice tip Boris gave, but egg is good addition for protein and taste. If you're feeling rich, throw slice of cheese in your plate while the food is still hot to make it extra good. Farofa is nice as well.

Pro tip about tea: Portion bags of tea are usually more expensive than buying a bigger bag of ground tea leaves. For example, I usually buy just standard black tea, lipton gold label etc. really standard stuff, anyway, the big bag usually costs maybe 1-2€ when a box of 20 small portion bags can be almost 4€! And you can make easily over a hundred cups from one of the bigger bags.

Kebabscout it also has more taste and you can use the same leave portion two times. Better health benefits too, keeps you warm in winter and gives concentration. Black tea with water poured until mug is completely full for pollack experience. Bergamot flavour for Russian taste. Inherited babushka mug or traditional one bought on old stuff 's market for +10 spirit. No sugar, it makes lazy, honey and lemon acceptable in cold winter
