I have to agree with the masses, that is some super sensitive shit you posted. Did you act like this when you found out Santa wasn't real?
@AceGoodheart
@AceGoodheart 4 жыл бұрын
First off, you asked Scott Steiner about his time working with Triple H. Scott hates HHH for ruining his 2nd time back with WWE. That's probably why Steiner wasn't happy with your question. Secondly, you gotta keep in mind these wrestlers sign autographs by the thousands, so if someone like Jimmy Hart doesn't give you his undivided attention then don't take it personal. Thirdly, you asked Brutus about a very tragic event in his life that almost killed him and definitely effected the rest of his career, so I'm sure he wasn't that happy about it. Maybe think of some better questions to ask the wrestlers and avoid questions that could possibly piss them off. And lastly, saying Beefcake's figure will be worth $10 more after he dies says a lot about the person you are. If anyone is the douche bag it's you.

I love it when fans feel wrestlers OWE them autographs and get pissed when them do not get whatever signed. I understand the logic of "we pay your salary" mindset but nobody owes you a thing and you really don't know what kind of day or week someone is having. Remember we all are people with good and bad days you could of caught the person during a rough time, that do not make someone a asshole. Funny thing is I have seen some fans act like complete tools with that "I demand a autograph" attitude when they see the wrestler is tired and looks like he have been through hell.

@TonyWillsDGIT
@TonyWillsDGIT 9 жыл бұрын
Steve Hammer Yeah, I've met and hung out with "Beefy" a time or two and he has always been very down to earth and chilled out. You know one thing he doesn't like to talk about? How he doesn't have a career anymore because of a crappy accident. It's basically like asking "Hey dude, remember when you used to be relevant, then you blew it? That was cool huh?" And as far as telling him to call his agent, he did that because if he was to record an intro for this idiot and his manager or agent was to see it he could get in trouble or even dropped because he did something behind their back...whether he is paid for it or not. It's different with wrestlers who don't rely on autograph bookings and random appearances to make their money. They can do whatever they want, whenever they want. but when you have to answer to people you can't just record videos with your personality on displaly. Not to mention he was probably just ready to get the signing event over with and go chill out. Gah!! tl;dr- people like this crybaby kid make me sick. And Beefy is a good dude.

Someone else here in the comments section hit the nail on the head. If I was a woman, and you brought me to your place and saw all that wrestling shit in your room, I'd be out of there so fucking fast it would make your head spin. Did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason Ed Leslie didn't want to talk about his accident is because it put him out of wrestling for 3 years and his career never really recovered from it? This is the kind of shit that makes me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. When I tell people I watch wrestling, they're like "you're such a loser for watching this" Probably because they think I'm like this guy.

oddly enough I used to be a massive wrestling fan. Now the talent is so crap (except when they ship out the golden oldies) I simply just watch shoot interviews. So glad I did because when I was a watching fan I used to hate some of those guys just because of their shitty stories. Like Jim Cornette. Now that guy has me enthralled at the stories he can pull out of the bag.

From my own personal experience: Shelton Benjamin - I've had good and bad experiences with him. He's moody. Brutus Beefcake - He took a picture, but kept trying to hustle me for a signed 8x10 from him. The sad part is the photos weren't even on glossy paper! LOL Jake Roberts - He was good to me (which shocked the Hell out of me), but I've seen him be nasty to fans. I do believe he's bi-polar. Jimmy Hart - He's a nice guy.

Good stories... All I've meet have been pretty nice, I've never encountered anyone that was rude.. In all I've meet (who wear cool) and in-person, not just leaving the arena or autograph session: Orton Morrison Miz Maryse Heath Slater R-Truth David Ortunga Primo. Rico--He car got swamped as he was leaving the arena and he got out and signed for nearly everyone. I didn't get one but I said "Hey Rico, smile!" and he turned around and smiled for a picture. The only one that kind of acted annoyed when approach was Kahli. A bit of a hand me down story, but Buff Bagwell was in town for some local promotion (him being billed as the top star) and how the experience was told to me: "He manager followed behind him apologizing for everything."

Man you've got to understand that they have 1000 fans a day asking for autographs. You said that Jake Roberts was at the bar with his wife. SB was in a car on the phone, and you asked Beefcake about the accident that ended his career? Would you really be in a chatty mood if some guy came up to you during those 3 times I mentioned and was bugging the crap out of you? I know they're professionals but they're still people and not always in the best of moods.

Yeah ask a wrestler about an accident that gave them a severe injury…I'm sure they want to talk about that. Would you ask Magnum TA about his motorcycle accident too? Just meet them and shut up, you should be happy you're meeting them not everyone gets to do that, stop feeling like they should just treat you nicely just cause. Smile, ask them to sign this, pay money (if applicable) and shut your trap.

You must really be approaching these guys the wrong way or at the wrong times. I can't speak for all of them, but I met Jake "The Snake" Roberts at a local show about 5 years ago and seriously couldn't imagine a nicer guy. He approached the fans, signed autographs, took pictures, told great jokes, and even spent about 15 minutes sharing old wrestling stories with me and a group of buddies that marked out earlier in the show when he was introduced as a surprise guest. AWESOME guy.

This resembles all the IWC. Internet Wrestling Crybabies I miss the good days I really do. When fans didn't surf dirt sheets or didn't ask the superstars stupid questions and weren't rude or ignorant. Back when it was all about the program and not complaining/bitching because you fav superstar does not have the title or isn't getting a push. As a long life time fan of wrestling it's dying and they blame Vince, or bad booking or TNA. ITS THE FANS THAT ARE THE PROBLEM. Example? Chanting other superstars names during a match is disrespectful. How about hijacking a show because the fans didn't get what they wanted right at that moment. Anywho, this dude is a prime example of CRYBABY

Now imagine having to apologize to people you dont even know just because people like you demand it... Just because you gave someone money, doesnt mean they owe you something special. Another one of those "fans" who feel that the wrestlers owe them the world. I wrestled on the indy scene and I was in the locker room with a lot of these guys. These guys are great guys. I am sure these guys get the same questions over and over. You are acting like a typical "Mark". You are the type fan that wrestlers hate. You think that since you pay your $20 for them to sign your figure, they should have a full blown conversation with you. Get over it. You are a cry baby. "Oh no, Jimmy was mid conversation and didn't talk to me." Shut up..you got your figure signed now move along. You paid for an autograph, not a conversation. So if one cuts a promo for you, every other fan is going to want one too. This then causes a chain reaction. Stop being a cry baby.

I’ve met quite a large handful of wrestlers and I’ve come to the following conclusions: 1.) I never get autographs; just photos with them. You can’t sell a wrestler’s autographed belt, toy, etc for any decent profit without a COA and I’m an adult so I’m sure as f**k not gonna buy toys. Besides, an autograph is, for the most part, just a scribble. I just get in the pic with them, somebody snaps a photo and we’re done. If it’s not too busy, I might chat em up for a few seconds, but that’s about it. 2.) Wrestlers may SEEM larger than life sometimes, but they’re people, too. They have good days and they have bad days. Plus, they get pounded and slammed for a living, so they might actually be signing your sh*t in a considerable amount of pain and discomfort. I know from experience that it’s harder to be chipper when you can barely walk. 3.) If you’re in line with a thousand or so other dudes, the wrestler ain’t gonna have a lot of time to get into a deep, meaningful conversation with you if he’s simultaneously signing every bit of wrestling memorabilia you’ve ever purchased. It’s gotta be in-and-out which generally leaves me with just enough time to pay them a compliment or say, “Thank you for what you do.” Unless it’s somebody like Lita or Sunny in which case, I generally just flirt. lol That being said, I actually LIKE hearing about people's opinions of wrestlers; particular if it's someone I've also met. Always curious to know if they were equally nice with them as they were with me or vice-versa. Generally-speaking, you can get a pretty good idea of what somebody's like if you've heard seven people who have met him an all seven of them think he's a douchebag. lol

My cousin waited by John Cena's car in Florida and by the time John got there he was pissed. She asked for an autograph but he said no and got in his car and drove away. I can't blame him, I would want fans waiting by my car for an autograph, I understand it would make their day, but wrestlers travel every day, barely see their families, and are sleep deprived. Example? CM Punk. I met CM Punk and he was very friendly to me, but from other people not so much.

But looking back now, it was very sad. It was an Appearance and autograph signing. At a newly-opened car wash in a poor neighborhood in Queens, NY. Jake seemed a bit out of it. Look man, I've met a ton or wrestlers in my life. You have to realize that these guys are real people, and they don't always want to be harassed. I know they got into the business, and should somewhat adhere to the fans. BUT, there is a difference between a handshake, or maybe a modest autograph, and somebody trying to get you to promote their shitty KZbin channel or asking questions that may not be something they want to remember. Something tragic like a major injury. Take my advice fanboy, and just be fortunate that one of your childhood heroes is willing to shake your hand, or even give you the time of day.People are people, no matter how much money they make.

If you met Jake "The Snake" Roberts now that he's sober and recovering, he would be on your top 5 best that you've met, he's a different man since DDP saved him.

I've had the privilege of meeting all five of these wrestlers and they were very polite and nice to me. Steiner seemed like he was forcing the niceness, but he was still nice. Jake the Snake and Jimmy Hart were awesome. They were down to earth and very humble. I think you're the problem, not them.

I enjoyed hearing your stories...a lot of the wrestlers you list, I have heard, were, in fact, jerks! So you are confirmed! LOL. Also, I am digging seeing your incredible merchandise collection (in the background). I am gonna check the best wrestlers after this. Oh ya - one more thing and I will shut up. I once almost got run over by Ted Debiase's (while he was in his limo!); what's with these guys and running people over?? LOL!

The biggest asshole I ever met was Batista. I met him while he was still in Evolution, He came in about 30 mins late from McDonald's and carrying there cup. He finally sat down, didn't say hi or anything to anybody. He left his sunglasses on, he wouldn't stand up to take pictures and you had to bend down to take a picture with him and wouldn't take his sunglasses off during pictures as well. Also, there was a poor man in a wheel chair and he wouldn't even have anybody help him up or himself to help this man get on the ramp to the stage to meet him.

You meet Brutus Beefcake and the first question you ask is about a skydiving accident (para-sailing, by the way) that left his face destroyed and requiring a 100 pieces of metal to put back together? You ask Steiner about some backstage heated shit with HHH and you ask Shelton to sign an action figure whilst he's in his car and on the phone? I think these guys were pretty polite to you considering what you were doing.

Guys I've met that were nice guys: Kevin Nash, Greg Valentine, Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno, Jimmy Valiant(who is very unappreciated in the wrestling world), Ricky Morton, Nikolai Volkoff.

Why are so many of you people all over this guy? It's his video. If you don't like it, don't watch. No need to get nasty hiding behind a computer screen. For $20, the wrestlers should have thanked him and offered him a beverage.

I've meet a few wrestlers throughout the years. The nicest guy definitely has to be Kurt Angle from a TNA house show in 2011. He had a big smile on his face and was incredibly friendly. The biggest prick was Bobby Roode, (at the same house show). Dude didn't even make eye contact with anybody...just signed whatever you gave him and he gave it right back.

How is Brutus bad? He signed your item and answered your questions. He wanted to make sure what he will be promoting before he says anything on film. Nothing wrong with that. You gotta remember that there is alot of gossip on the web, so, they need to be careful.

I met Jake Roberts at comic-con 2012 in providence R.I. He was such a great guy. He see's my wife and say's how are you doing darling? My wife is handicap and she's in a scooter. So she say's I'm fine it's just hard to maneuver with all these people. Jake gets up from his booth get's in front of her and he starts moving the crowd saying move it, move it lol we come back around so we could see Jake and he gives her a signed glossy for free. He asks if we would like to buy his best of dvd for $20 but we were out of cash. So my wife say's would you take a check? He say's sure but his agent or his wife get's upset over this and so I remember there is an ATM and so I give him the cash and he signed that too. sorry for the long post but he was so nice to us and it's something we'll never forget.
