ledgendary walker class from the zen store will allow you to have said console on all characters. Which was released 2020 i only got that ship this year. I did not even know it exsisted. I had the ship on my fed toon when it first came out. Just an FYI

Yep, and you can also get that obfuscation screen account wide in the new Mudd's bundle that is coming out. Too expensive for this account though, but a good option for others.

I remember there was something else special about Raisan Corvett, like a fleet version giving 13 consoles?

The special thing is that it's the only event ship that also unlocks a "fleet" version, which you can buy with 2 modules and has full pilot spec and a different Boff layout. The "Risian Pilot Corvette" - which you can't buy without owning the regular version.

My Hysperian brother! If you dont have the legendary jem, id say its worth the dil! Its super rare we get a ship thats great for pvp AND has a really good trait/console. ( If not for the Hysperian for your epg builds) a lot of bang for the buck.. Im probably biased since its basically my absolute favorite ship.

It's definitely on of the coolest event ships we've gotten in a long time. Could also run a bunch of Isomags on it... very versatile and lots of hull cap too. I used it in an arena I was going to upload (with arrays), but it was kind of a boring match

Unusual choice with the engineering pilot warbird. back in the day when sci-scorts were hot with the exploder consoles it was the science version which got all the attention. Also thought the Justiciar command star cruiser would get an honorable mention due to the console and trait.

Justiciar’s console and trait are pretty worthless in pvp - maybe the trait on an Intel ship for a subsystem offline gimmick build but that’s a fringe case at best. Eng pilot warbird is the one to have - sadly plasma embassy consoles are never coming back. Cheers!

@@bretsgamingchannel I'm a little confused. I don't own the jJsticiar, but one would think that a direct jump to an opponent and damage based upon hull strength would be a PVPer's wet dream. The trait is situational, but getting access to a guaranteed Random subsystem offline or a guaranteed power drain on an opponent could be quite beneficial in PVP. In PVE NPC clear those swiftly, but combine the trait with a subnuke and it sounds very detrimental to your opponent's health.

@@Andre25077 The console has two issues: It has a very slow travel time, and it is aimed at where the target "was" and doesn't adjust. So against a fast, moving player ship, you will never actually hit them unless they are sitting still. The second issue is that the damage is terrible, something like 6000 kinetic with no innate shield pen or anything - very easy to resist or negate entirely. Check out this video, we tested it and it doesn't even break through my shield facing and I'm sitting parked and idle/unbuffed: www.twitch.tv/videos/1892321315?t=00h47m26s The trait - intel subsystem offline is 6 seconds, which is resisted by your target's CTRLX skill, but not increased by yours. This means anyone in a decent pvp build with 250-350 CTRLX will reduce the subsystem disable time to something closer to 1-2 seconds at best, and the offline effect doesn't apply at all for the 5 second eng team is active, which theoretically can be activated every 11 seconds. MW power drain, -10 or -20 power drain isn't going to be even noticed with DRAINX skill of your target resisting the drain. Even further, there aren't really any desirable ships MW+Intel to do this kind of build effectively anyway. Basically, they are cool gimmicks. I'm not saying you can't make it work somehow, but for a "Top 5" video like this, I wanted to recommend only things I know with absolute certainty can perform well. I love to try weird builds and ideas all the time, but to someone just stumbling into pvp, its best to just give them a known, reliable build they can use, and they can experiment with other things later, after they have the basics down.

I’m hesitant to do those because I don’t want the first video someone sees about pvp to name 5 billion EC worth of ships to get, but I may roll it in with my campaign choice for this year, that kind of makes sense. Mudds bundle is a good idea too - but by sheer luck perhaps at the moment, the pvp meta is relatively “cheap” since you basically want a hydra with dprm and Seneca consoles (and unconventional systems) and you’re good to go. Too bad there isn’t a bundle with say, Risian corvette, legendary Jhas, and Zahl cruiser. A “pvp bundle” so to speak.

It's hard to say without knowing exactly what you already have. For example I'm almost definitely going to take DPRM (Atlas) for this account, but I saw in one of your videos you already have that. So maybe the S31 Sci Destroyer, which has a good trait (Exitus), good console (tractor drones), good experimental weapon (invasive coilgun) as well as the ship itself being pretty good too. Or Mirror Strike Wing Escort, like I mentioned in this video which as a lot of good things on it. Feel free to shoot me a message on discord and let me know what stuff you already have, and I'll try to tailor the advice a little better for you.

It is very high on the bang-for-buck scale. You get it account wide, trait is great, console is great, ship is very solid too. I have to recommend it, even for 1k lobi, that's not much more than a regular single-character lobi ship.

PvP definitely wasn’t dead ten years ago, I was there too you know, and it’s not dead now (latest patch excluded of course). Either way it’s funny to see comments like this on a channel that is mostly footage of PvP arenas - do you think those are all bots or something? But yes it’s true that player numbers are stagnant in this now 14 year old mmo which applies to the entire game, not just PvP.

@@bretsgamingchannel yeah i meant that sto is not certainly a pvp oriented game and the majority of its players don't bother about pvp at all (at least this was 10 years ago). i stopped playing because of this. can you tell me if there are official pvp tournaments in game? i was part of unofficial tournaments when there was fleets like "the spanish inquisition" and "sad pandas" if you remember those. i still have a lifetime account i wondering if it is still playable lol

@@matteorossi6747 My bad, I get a lot of comments/complaints about PvP so I can be a little defensive. TSI isn't really around anymore, but I'm a member of Sad Pandas and they're still very active. There are also several new fleets, DME, DSBG, Haxlings, and a few other old names still around like HOBOS. Tournaments still happen, Ker'rat is the day to day pvp with both fed and kdf aligned groups having their own channels for teaming and calling for help, usually on discord. It's a lot different now than it used to be. Way faster, a lot more abilities and buffs/debuffs to remember. Most critically, as of Jan 23rd patch it's completely broken, they added some new abilities that have no cooldown, infinite hold effect, stacking stealth, basically everything you'd make if you were trying to break pvp - see my most recent video for details. Until that is fixed, PvP has come grinding to a halt.
