Coast - the part of the land near the sea; the edge of the land. no Ducks, no Sharks, no Kings, no Canucks none of the teams you listed are west coast teams and none of the goals were from any West Coast teams. And anyone who had watched those games would know there were some beauties. There was one by Burns that was nicer than half of this list

Nicholas Fitzpatrick I live on the coast and I am a Canucks fan so I wouldn't really say I have a hate for the west coast. I had 3 west coast goals I was considering. There was a goal by Kempe where he came off the boards got around the defender and sniped it. A goal by Perry a believe against Buffalo and a goal by Burns on a pass from Pavelski in ot. They were all really close to making the list but I decided not to include them. I wanted to make a list of my favorite goals, I knew I would end up missing teams and making people mad but I was willing to do it.

Schwartz' goal against I think the Leafs could've made it. Also Spurgeon's goal was my favorite as a blues fan. The hand eye it took to capture the puck after trying to locate it then snipe it out of the air before the tender could get back over was absolutely nasty.

Jesse Funk I can agree with this point that you're making, but you should go back & take a look at both of them because they're more then spectacular. Also, that's the thing. It's a do-or-die thing. I understand the extra space stuff because that's true but it doesn't make it any less spectacular in my eyes. Also, I'm surprised you didn't have any of Drouins goals this year, he had two gnarly slap shots and the goal vs the Penguins he out skated Cole and went forehand-backhand. Look, I can totally understand your predicament, it's like making an NHL 100 list, you fill it up with guys you think are worthy, and then you look at the guys you didn't include and you're like, "well shit I can make an argument to replace this guy with this guy." And it gets hard to choose. Just a matter of opinion really, I have mine and this is yours published. I think otherwise they all look pretty good.
