Outside of double battles specifically surf is just better except whenever you opponent uses it and they just drop your accuracy every time and make everything they have annoying to play against. Even in double battles where it has the non-rng upside of not hitting your teammate, its really more of a necessary evil than solid option especially since surf can open up fun combos and ways to play around the downside(water absorb, or using pokemon who resist surf as partners so they can eat it up while you drown everything else without having to worry about rng). Payback from Fossil Fighters could be a cool Pokémon move. When the enemy attacks you there’s a 70% chance their attack will be reflected back at them instead for 2 turns
@emperorcubone2 жыл бұрын
Payback is already a move, but we can give it a different name.
@Cool_Kid952 жыл бұрын
@@emperorcubone in the first FF game Payback was called Counter Blow, but it was way less useful. More expensive and only sent back damage 40% of time. The second Fossil Fighters game is really good and fixes tons of balancing issues the first one had, especially with these types of positive status moves. Anyways, I guess we could call it counter blow again? Or maybe something based off the animation in the second game like idk “Aura of Thorns”.

I've never really liked when they give signature moves to other Pokemon honestly. It feels unfair to the few who still have them (like Ho-Oh vs Lugia). Also, can we take a minute to talk about freaking Accelerock? They keep it from the one Lycanroc form that wants it most for literally no reason.

In Gen 2 Arcanine wasn't the only one with Extremespeed. Don't forget you can get a Dratini with Extremespeed after defeating the 8th gym.
@emperorcubone2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but that was only in Crystal years later, and since that was the lowest selling mainline Pokemon game ever I think it's safe to assume most people didn't experience that.

I swear Sunflora originally had it too (unless it was given to it in gen four), which is kinda sad because a lot of people never used Sunflora anyway (rip I love it). I will say that spore is amazing. I have it on parasect, and combined with base 80 leech life it is amazing.

@randumo242 жыл бұрын
I mean, there are a lot of things wrong with this list. As nice as Sacred Fire is, it doesn't even come close to comparing to V-Create. I mean, that's a 270 base power move when Victini is using it. If they ever gave it to one of the stronger attacking fire type users, instead of one with just a 100 base attack, it would be insane.

Don't forget the worst part about Teeter Dance: It also confuses the user when it doesn't have the Own Tempo Ability like Spinda can. In that sense, spreading it around made the move even worse than when it was a signature move!

Actually psywave minimum power is 50%+1hp, not only 1hp. So at level 100, it does between 51 and 150 damage to the target. And it isn't that terrible, it is used on bronzong in gen 7, so it has at least some uses.
