Yeah I can definitely see what you mean. Even tho I loved the fight it didn't feel as Grand or as scope filled as the final fights in the Galaxy games. And 3dland and 3dworld had badass chase segments. Especially with 3d world making you climb up that enormous skyscraper while Bowser transforms into a cat form and duplicates himself.

Final boss fights are incredible. When you play through a video game, you’re building up towards the moment you want to see. The final boss is something you look forward to and you want to experience. Beat the boss, Boom, the game is over, you’re done. I love epic final battles. The final boss of wind Waker was incredible and put a smile on my face every time I defeat Ganon and put a sword in his head. -JMM
