Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.

You know Long-term investors know that the market and economy will recover eventually, and are well positioned for the rebound. Personally still going hard on this crazy market and I'm doing just fine. My portfolio currently up 43% right now. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out, adding more stocks at a time.

On my end I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.

After a terrible 2022, shell-shocked financial backers have a lot to think about and losses to recover from. An expansion report and a wealth of other data did little to alter assumptions that the Central bank would likely keep raising interest rates regardless of whether the economy slows down. This implies that portfolios will experience more losses during the first quarter of 2023. I'm currently at a crossroads deciding whether to exchange my $250k security/stock portfolio; how might the continuous market volatility work to my advantage?

One of the main reasons I have a portfolio coach supervise my daily investment decisions is that their whole skill set is focused on trading long and short while using profit-oriented strategies and avoiding risk as a hedge against inevitable downtrends. When paired with insider information and analysis, underperformance is exceedingly difficult. Since employing a coach for around two years, the return on investment has topped one million five hundred thousand dollars.

I feel for you. Newbies must realize that the market comes with lots of risks. It is a zero sum game and you could potentially lose all. I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

Hey hope all is well, again thank you for all the info you put out on your channel. You have helped me become informed and ultimately pulling the trigger in investing. I had a couple of questions for you. 1. Are these recommendations still holding up going into 2023/2024. 2. I followed your Fidelity Roth IRA video last year which was my first investment (outside the Government TSP) and this year I plan on maxing out the Roth IRA early and opening another investment account. My question is what are the benefits of jumping from brokerage to brokerage instead of staying with Fidelity. You have mentioned Vanguard on other videos and I have been debating on opening an account with them as well. I just not sure why I wouldn't just keep all my assets with Fidelity.

Love the breakdown. I've gradually built my finance and made my first $100k through investing, and with what I’ve learned over a decade investing, given enough time, solid investments have the potential to double the initial principal amount, but many investors are instead attracted to the lure of high yields in short periods of time despite the possibility of unattractive losses before even getting out. So the onus is on newbies to beware.

@Linda Aramendiz As long as you diversify your portfolio, any single stock that you own shouldn’t have too much of an impact on your overall return. If it does, buying individual stocks might not be the right choice for you, as you can also try out the Roth IRA or I series bonds. Even index funds will fluctuate, so you can’t get rid of all of your risk, try how you might. With help, these are achievable. LEVI CLEMANS, a pro Fiduciary oversees my portfolio. You recommend these for a Fidelity Taxable account or only Roth IRA?

Question. I have my Roth with vanguard and VTSAX, but i want to use fidelity as my brokerage. What infex fund would you recommend as kind of my 'fidelity baby' which will be my main portfolio. Should I just go with number 1 or 2?

Great video Joshua! FNCMX is the Nasdaq Composite, your viewers might be confused since you mention the Nasdaq 100 which FNCMX is not. Nasdaq 100 is QQQ ETF.

Can either of you explain why it is better to invest in The S&P 500 over the Nasdaq 100? I know the expense ratio is higher with the Nasdaq 100 but the return is a $20k difference over 10 years. I realize Tech is taking a beating but I'm sure that will turn around. Combined with total market why wouldn't the greater return be the better bet? I will continue to invest in Total market but now I'm wondering should I invest into Nasdaq 100 over the S&P. I realize you are not my financial advisor, just would like to learn personal opinions.

so a good idea is to buy fxaix to track sp500 and get large caps, fskax to get large, mid and small caps? and which one would be the better international fund? FTIHX? I currently have about 1,500 in FXAIX since I iust started like 3months ago and im trying to mirror my tsp since I invest in the C,S and I fund which the C fund is the Sp500(FXAIX) The S fund(FSKAX) and the I fund(FTIHX)? Im so undecisive about what international fund to buy (FTIHX) or (FZILX) and to track dow Im indecisive wether to buy (FZROX) or (FSKAX)

What are your thoughts on a 3 fund portfolio consisting of FXAIX, FZILX And then a bond fund?
@mollychow8904
@mollychow8904 2 жыл бұрын
IMO, I like the first 2 etfs but I wouldn’t invest in bonds bc bonds usually don’t give a high return but if you are conservative, adding a bond to your portfolio wouldn’t be a bad idea. Just depends on your risk tolerance n how long you plan on holding these.

Have a question josh. You said some of these funds aren’t able to be traded over to a different investment company….what if I wanted to buy and sell within Fidelity? I’m currently invested in FZROX but need to switch to FXAIX immediately. I’m somewhat new to investing.
