I signed up for your "Master Program, "The Million Dollar Year" just yesterday. I'm excited and beyond ready to transform my mindset and relationship with money. Having recently discovered the root causes of my financial 'why,' I am eager to embrace the idea that the obstacles of the past don't have to hinder me today. #NewBeginnings #InvestingInSelf

Great video, as always! As to point 1 - feeling like there's not enough progress. I am feeling that for sure and agree being committed to a plan is helpful. I was doing so great working more hours and making more money and aggressively tackling my high interest debt. I got my total CC burden down by more than 2/3 in one year, and feel very happy about that! But my extra income put me into a higher tax bracket AND caused me to have to pay back the health insurance premium subsidy, so my tax hit equaled about half the amount of the debt I had worked so hard to pay off. I'm self employed and didn't pay estimated tax payments throughout the year as a conscious choice because I wanted to pay my debt faster instead. So the tax bill came all at once. I still feel great about my progress, and know it matters, but it really sucks to see the credit card bills go back up in an instant! Luckily I have room on a zero percent balance transfer card so I'll take advantage of that and just keep truckin on the plan!

Keep up the amazing work Kelsey! Roadblocks / hiccups can be frustrating, but don’t let them deter your hard work and progress. You’ve got this!

Thank you, Ladies, for this wonderful video. The big one for me has been supporting an aging parent, which has caused additional cc debt and emotional stress and spending causing further debt (yes, I admit this and am very aware and currently working on this.) There is shame, anger, and guilt involved and I continue to work on forgiving myself and family member. I have improved my ability to focus on today and not get caught up in past actions or future (potential) fears. I signed up for your free workshop and will look into your other programs. 💖

You are not alone! I 100% can resonate with your story! Yes, it's like coming up for air; finally seeing with new sight and feeling so afar off from where we should be and should have done for our own self.... leaving the feelings as you mentioned of shame, anger, guilt, etc. Great job, improving your ability to focus on today and not get caught up in the past actions or future projections which causes worry and fear... If you move forward beyond the free program and choose to enter into the Master Program.... You have mounds of support. Look me up and let's become accountability partners and grow ourselves upper and forward :) :) :) We even share the same name! hehehehe LOVE IT! Hope to see you in the Master Program. #YouGotthis #NeverTooLate #RightPlace #RightTIme

Thank you so much for being here. Taking on the care of/supporting an aging parent is no easy task, and it certainly comes with its fair share of financial changes/burden as well. Kudos to you for naming your feelings around it and making a plan to work through these things. I can tell you are a wonderful, caring caretaker.

All apply. I even signed up for MDY, had some situations and didn't finish. I'm going to try again. Completely financially illiterate 😞

Root Cause: I see Money as a Bad Boyfriend/Ex-husband- trying to avoid at all costs. GLAD to say I'm in the MDY program on Step 3. Thank you for normalizing these conversations.

I like and appreciate all the information you give in all your videos. What I'm missing that I'd love to see a viceo on is how to find good investments and the practical step-by-step how-to buy stocks/invest within the platforms, Fidelity, TIAA, etc. Always so intimidating to me.

I second this. I want to know how to pick good investments.

@@DowJanesFinancialEducation thank you. Will there actually be step-by-step instructions on how to navigate within specific platforms? That's really all I need. The website/app for these are difficult for me to understand what I'm doing/how to buy. The basic how-to on each investment platform/app is all I need, but I've yet to find it in any of the information and videos provided.

Unfair tax rates. More money you make as 99% more you get taxed without the 1% benefits.
